English By The Grace Of God

Loving it mate, like the in game screenies combined with the real life shots. Only thing I don't like is you beating Australia! Unacceptable! ;)

Haha, thanks mate, from what I remember from previous saves Australia end up with a half decent side don't they? I actually follow Australian football a bit. Matthew Smith is from my home town and my step-brother is a youth coach at Brisbane City FC. Also 2 of my friends have emigrated to Melbourne and play for a team just below the NPL.

In all my saves Australia go to the Sh@thouse, I like yours better! Wow, so you have some real Aussie connections! Do you mind if I ask who your friends play for? PM me if you like.

England Update.

A brilliant month for all 3 squads. Starting with the senior squad..

View attachment 281441 View attachment 281437

No real tests here for England again but still, 10 goals in 2 games is nothing to be sniffer at! Good to see Harry Kane and Ryan Mason on the score sheet again too. England are now top of group E and look well on course to qualify with ease.

Well done the U21's..

A 6-2 aggregate victory over an extremely talented Belgium side means the 21's are going to Spain for the European Championships. All part of the masterplan.

And finally the U19's..

View attachment 281422 View attachment 281434

Wins over Poland and Kazakhstan mean the U19's are through to the second qualifying round of the Euro's. Good to see Dele Alli on the scoresheet too.

November

Surely we can't have had another month unbeaten in all competitions can we..

View attachment 281113 View attachment 281095

**** yeah we can! Another superb month. starting to think this isn't a fluke and we can challenge for than just UCL qualification. 19 goals scored and 5 conceded. Absolutely buzzing. Some absolute epics this month, my favourite game being the 2-2 draw with Hull believe it or not!

View attachment 281105 View attachment 281100 View attachment 281106

We absolutely battered, outplayed, dominated them but it just wasn't to be! That's exactly why we all love the beautiful game!

So, lets see the league table..

View attachment 281098

Slipped into second place behind Citeh but not fussed about that in the slightest, if I was offered that at the start of the season I would of bit your hand off. Fingers crossed we can keep this up now to Christmas at least! Buzzing to my boys like Lamela, Kane and Eriksen topping the goals, form and assists charts too!

Also, our form in Europe improved to see us qualify with relative ease in the end..

View attachment 281092 View attachment 281091

Still have one game to go of course but confident we can top the group!

And finally, the Capital One Cup..

View attachment 281090

The draw has been kind and see's away to The Rams. Won't be a walk in the park but will be disappointed if we go out there.

In other news..

Vertonghen signs a new deal.

View attachment 281083

Crucial that we got him tied down. Big player for us.

So all in all, another brilliant months to be a Spurs fan.

Harry Kane - The next big thing?

Now the biggest part of my career is to develop English players, I think it's safe to say Harry Kane is developing nicely and thought I'd dedicate a post the man valued at £26 million pounds..

View attachment 281079

He's been awesome so far for me this season and his stats back this up..

View attachment 281069

According my staff, Mr Kane is already a world class player..

View attachment 281068 View attachment 281067

I'm not so sure I agree with them at the moment, but there is not denying he is outstanding and is already and integral part of my side and now the England team and will be for years to come. Will keep you updated regarding him as much as possible.

"He's one of our own, he's one of our own..."

Youth Update

View attachment 281052

Injuries to Bentaleb and Kaboul gave me and excuse to temporarily promote Cameron Carter-Vickers and Josh Onomah to the first team. I was going to promote Kyle Walker-Peters due to his good performances for the first team but he picked up a knock too.

I decided to start Onomah in 5-1 mauling of Swansea..

View attachment 281048 View attachment 281047

Really proud of him lasting the whole game, coming in with a 7.2 rating. Gave a good account of himself. Attributes are improving too..

View attachment 281046 View attachment 281043

Exposure to first team football definitely a factor.

Also, Cameron Carter-Vickers made his senior debut here..

View attachment 281045 View attachment 281042

Game was already won when he came on, he held his own and didn't have much to do other than break this record..

View attachment 281044

Proud of the boys. Certain Kyle Walker-Peters will get some playing time with the seniors next month too. Getting so excited for Youth Intake day too, even though its still a way off!

England Update

2 more good wins for the Senior team in November..

View attachment 281039 View attachment 281037

A nice win over Portugal in a friendly and more points on the board in Euro qualifying campaign. Well on course to qualify still.

On a personal level was good to see Danny Rose got his first England cap too..

View attachment 281038

England seem to have an abundance of good Left Backs at the moment, will be interesting to see where Rose falls on the pecking order.

Was proud to see Harry Kane and Ryan Mason on the score sheet again. Kane now has 5 goals in 4 games for England and has 4 goals in 5 games (surprising as he only has 3 goals in 12 games for Tottenham).

Not gonna bother posting the U21's and U19's results as they played friendlies only but both squads won both sets of fixtures.
