This tactic has worked wonders in Serie A with Fiorentina, Rossi has a goal a game playing AMC

TFF your tactic look great but i just cant play strikerless no matter how good a tactic is.Any sugestions about tweaking to include 1 striker in your tactic?

Does this tactic include set pieces already or do you have pictures for those?

I find that I'm having big trouble keeping possession as Southampton and most of my goals conceded were from set pieces or from runs down the flank (fullbacks are still...troubling in this formation :/)

Update from my Middlesbrough save.

Middlesbrough, First Season, Predicted 8th.

Heh... I won Sky Bet Championship with record stats:116 Pts, 110 For, 33 Ag.

EPL, I'm coming! :P :P

I don't know why but V6 still is working the best for me.

codex can you upload v6 please because it was working good for me too

maybe i found out why side attackers missing chances.......d-line too deeper and they arrive tired in the penalty area......testing in progress

yes but with d-line higher it seems to leak in defense , so im trying with control mentality and no change for d- line but with slower tempo......lets see what happen

With v6 (higher D-Line)

Codex, your results looks very logical to me.

High D-Line:

With High D-Line your performance will awesome when you are strong team and what is most important your opponents must be weak compare to you. This means your opponents should have poor players who can't use weaknesses of High D-line such as big channels between defenders but if you are mid club and use High D-Line then you'll be hammered by one-on-ones.

Deep D-Line:

I find that Deep D-Line is more universal... Yes, your performance isn't so "shiny" as it could be with "High D-Line" bit it's more consistent. Threat mostly comes only from crosses and if you have strong and tall defenders you'll be just fine.

Codex, if your team is strong and what is most important other teams in the league are weak compare to your team you can add "Much Higher D-Line" to V10 and your performance will be even better than V6.

Great man, wouldn't have come to this idea myself! :D Thanks mate, I will give it a go

EDIT: Should I use the drop deeper option again if playing the likes of Bayern, BVB?

Yes, I would use more caution approach vs clubs like these because they have such good player who capable tear apart your High D-Line.

Nothing is free... when you use High D-Line you put more pressure on your opponent and this mean more possession to you and less possession to your opponents... heh... you can get away with when play against weak opponents and have great performance but when you meet top clubs it could end tragic ;)

My first season in EPL after promotion, predicted 18th. Table after 7 matches looks like this:

Transfers:

As you can see I brought 12 new players!

Good example what can happens if you underestimate your opponents.

Southampton decided to use High D-Line with attacking 4-2-3-1 formation against me and it ended tragic to them... :P I had 9 CCC.

Heh... I wouldn't blame them too much because it was home match for them and nobody know my "real" strength right now :P

In High d-line you mean "Push higher" or "much higher d-line"?

Both these shout do the similar job... they higher D-line and the only difference is "Push Higher Up" higher it less and "Much Higher D-Line" higher it more.

Which one to use depends from your appetite ;)

Heh... as you can see Southampton example showed what could happens if you use high D-Line vs this tactic... it simple tears it apart :P

P.S. Btw, I used "much deeper D-Line" vs Southampton but won it and created 9 CCCs!

Okay. Im experience some mixed results with Barcelona. Win against smaller teams at home.. but have trouble against Real Madrid and the other big clubs in La Liga.

Am i doing something wrong?

CodeX, you can try approach which I always use and find it optimal.

For example, I always start matches with Base(Deep D-Line) version and after 1st half if I don't happy with result I decide cloud I take

more risk and use more aggressive approach(Much Higher D-Line) or it's better keep using Base version.
