I've seen others say Johnson was ****. I didn't think he was particularly bad. Also people have said Milner was ****, thought he was pretty solid as well (yes he missed the great chance but other than that)

There was a couple of times in the first half where they would win the ball off us and play it down his side and it was someone else covering and he should be busting a gut to get back but he was genuinally jogging. His crosses were very poor too.

i dunno, a lot of keepers don't tend to reach their peck until they are mid 30's. He had a dodgy spell a few years ago so he went for some tests and he found out he needed glasses, since then which was around 18months ago i'd say he has been very solid.
 
Feeling sad about the Greeks. Lack of concetration costed them the game, although they did try hard to come back. Whats wrong with Peter Czech? Second poor game for him.

I don't think having a poor defence infront of him helps.

Poor defense or not, you expect any decent keeper to save the first goal. This is not the first time either, Cech were knocked out from Euro 08 thanks to Cech's blunder.

I agree that is not the only excuse and at the end of the day it lies down to him. But i am saying when a keeper knows he has a good defence infront of him he is more likely to let them deal with things and give him more confidence.

Lawl. He should have seen some of the polish press, most of which was remembering World War II today.

Polish edition of Nesweek had a picture of our coach dressed up as general who had our biggest military victory over Russians in 1920s.
 
Decent game that, backed Dzagoev to score first but of course again with no money!!!! Great striker by Brazl.....Bralzy....Jakub B and probably the best goal of the tournament yet. Round 3 in this group is going to be epic, all 4 sides can still go through.
 
Great game i thought russia would run away with it after first half but poland changed tactics and started playing on the break more, next round of matches will be exciting. Blaszczykowski goal of tournament so far!
 
Yep, exploding game until the goal of the Polish guys. Wondering why Russia kept attacking and wasting energy, when they could get back and defend and then control the ball in slow attacks. I guess it is their style to attack and counter-attack, but they should quickly adapt to a more defending game and slower tempo if they want to win this tournament.

Good game from Poland, I pretty much enjoyed their effort! This group becomes surprisingly interesting with some beautiful football played between the teams.
 
Another great game to watch, maybe not many clear cut chances but it had plenty of action. At some point things just went blow by blow from both sides. Also, goal of the tournament so far.
 
Surely Thibaut Courtois has to be no.1 for Chelsea next season, Petr Cech is good... but Courtois is at the same level if not better. Another case of reputation before ability!!!!!!

I thought he is already confirmed to be on loan at Athletico for another season. Also Cech hasn't ever been as good for NT as he has been for Chelsea.
