This might surprise people but I think Denmark are going to win the group.

Suspended sentence.. Nothing will come of it.

But still, why are Russia being punished for that yet nothing happens to Poland for what they did? Obviously I wasn't there but it looked like it was mostly Polish attacking Russian's.. Not to mention the fact they outnumber them like 10-1.

I couldn't agree more there. I want Denmark to get to the Quarter Finals. Denmark did win it in 1994, why not 2012? Hope they win tonight.

That's not the only incident the Russian's have been involved in.

If understand correctly , this is for throwing flares and other stuff on the pitch during the game.

As far as the skirmishes on the street, I havent heard anything about "Average Igors" getting into trouble from the locals, just some brawling between hardcore fans. I don't mean to make excuses for fighting in the streets, but if someone is crazy enough
to try and carry flags and symbols of former Soviet Union in Poland, well. Its not only illegal here , but will get you instantly frowned up on the street from anyone above age of 20. Might just as well travel to Israel while carrying large flag with Hitler, then act surprised if someone smacks you.

Anyway, not the place to discuss politics.
 
Being portuguese is all about this, suffering all the time, but in the end, getting it done.
 
Nani had very good game, should have had at least 3 assists. What I hate about Portugal team is everytime they get the ball, they try to pass it to Ronaldo only even when other were in better positions.

Ronaldo had off day, should have scored at least 2 goals. Hopefully he will up his game against Netherlands.
 
Even being Portuguese, I think our team is pretty crappy, our midfield doesn't exist, Ronaldo plays like a Primadonna, we hardly have a striker, João Pereira is zero at defending. Overrall and despite this we have good quality, but many things need to change. I can see us going through this group stage and even semi-finals, despite our limitations.

Oliveira looked better than Postiga. Should start with him. Yeah midfield was disjointed and tried hollywood stuff or shooting from ridiculous distances. Imo midfield didn't use Nani very much at all, he was in better positions but pass went to other side where Ronaldo was playing.
 
So depressing... But at least it was an entertaining game.
 
Agree ;) Especially about Postiga and Oliveira, he is younger, faster, has more drive, the only problem is that he is also more intense and he often gets carried away.
As for midfield, they are three piano carriers, no real playmaker, Veloso is a fat sloth, Moutinho is one of the most overrated players I've seen, and Meireles, altough being good, also needs good support behind him.
We have to do major improvements in terms of creating play, fortunately the dutchies defence is not that good, altough their firepower is incredible, a change is in store. Or should be.

Not at all, Courtois is very good and may end up being better than Cech but did you not watch and of Chelsea's games towards the end of last season? To say its reputation over ability is utterly false.
 
Great game of football then and arguably the best so far in terms of dramas. Well done to Portugal and captain Ronaldo owes Verela a huge drink tonight after that (and me too as he is in my ******* dreamteam).

Oh and by the way Arsenal, this is what Bendtner can do when used to his strengths i.e crosses in the box.

. Courteous has had one good season and your saying he is better than a goalkeeper who has been consistently solid for 10 seasons and was probably the best GK in the world at one point not to mention he still is very good. Cech has hardly made many mistakes but Reina has made so many, even goalkeepers like Neur and Hart make mistakes but obviously you will not vilify them
 
Nani won 2 tackles (3rd best) and 6 interceptions (1st). Combining best in the game.

Also made 5 key passes which is also best in the game. Had some game.
 
Are we sure this is the same RVP, maybe it is his long lost brother Rupert?

RVP has been shocking. Loved it when low sneeked up behind ball boy and knocked ball out of his hand LOL
