Oh dear ireland 4mins in first half 3 and a half in second half this could be a cricket score.
 
Great finish by Siva, Ireland the first team to be sent home. Oh and by the way, if it was that easy to beat better sides by parking 2 bus's then Ireland would have done so. (Chelsea reference lol)
 
Its a joy to watch, So many top class players for Spain.. Iniesta has again looked outstanding, and even Torres Looks a completely different player

It's true but when you look at our backline we have to play deep. With a higher line we'd be torn even more, we are relying on the determination and dedication of St. Ledger and Dunne, who depite some mistakes can definitely walk with their heads held high.
 
Torres showing just what he can do WHEN he is given goal scoring opportunities. Real positive stuff here and absolutely buzzing for next season.
 
Spain bring on Santi Carlorza and Ireland counter that with.....Paul Green lol.
 
Good strike by Cesc, shocking defending by Ireland though. Spain have arrived.
 
Irish fans are being a real credit to the nation here. Can still hear them sing The Fields of Athenry over the T.V.

Fantastic game to watch. Brutal display of power by Spain, but i got to give credit to Ireland. They were outclassed and yet didn't just lie down and die but kept trying.

Also props to Irish fans. I am just stunned and amazed, don't think i've ever seen team get beaten up 4:0 and still have such a fan support.
 
Wow, for the last 5 or so minutes of that game I forgot there was a football match being played, the Irish fans just made it so surreal, seemed to effect the game aswell, huge credit to those fans, be hard to find a better support that stick behind there team no matter what.

best fans in the world us irish 20000 of us turn up from a country with no money an i noticed people taking the mikey we counter a sub with paul green we might not be the best footballing nation in the world but we play with pride passion for our country when we qualify for a tournament our nation gets behind our team not find ways in the press to bring them down like the english press and tv do how many english fans were at the france game 5000 you were lucky theres going to be around 18000 swedish fans against england where are all your fans? so for all of you taking the **** when your country plays with the same pride passion and loyalty to tthe badge on the shirt and not the pay packet the type things in here but you dont when we play italy on monday the irish will be there again in force doing the country proud!
