In fairness Hansen seems to have a long standing issue with Torres.

My problem started with him the after they beat Ireland, he could not praise him what so ever. Said his performance was not that great. I can say things because i spoke to people that did watch it, they basically highlighted the poor stuff from him last season but nothing good.

Not just him though, Thompson has a huge problem with him too. It's just cringe worthy to watch them criticise all the time, why their employers keep them on just amazes me.

They showed how his season went then showed his latter form of the season (good and bad). Regarding the question is he back? It was appropriate as they talked about his decline starting with the WC and his poor 2 years afterwards.
 
In all honesty it would be a lot harder to pick on Torres if he was actually consistently scoring. :p

Croats are head and shoulders over Ireland ,we'll see how he does in this game.

You can't get upset when a program shows how he's played, whether you like it or not he's not lived up to his 50m. Yet.

He is never going to live up to 50m. Its a mental price that was put on him. It doesnt mean you cant do a unbiased assessment of him, Hansen and Thompson dont seem to understand this, while also making as many allowances for Carroll as possible.

I've learnt to just ignore it but can't say I agree with the 40k they get for each episode of MOTD just because I don't listen to them talk balls.
 
Italy : Ireland - 1:0; Spain : Croatia - 0:0; Italy goes trough with this result? Anyone watching the Italy's game? Was there a penalty on the strike that met the upper hand of an Irish defender? Any comments on how the Croatia - Spain game goes?

Not a penalty. Wasnt anywhere near his hand either, hit him high on the right side of his chest. Right call.

Croatia - Spain is balanced. Spain have more of the ball, but havent really done anything to threaten. Croatia have marshalled them very well, but they now have to score
 
Yes, if all remains, they go first even.
No penalty.
Spain and Croatia is pretty even!

I think only if they draw 2-2 :3 Spain 4 pts, Croatia 4 pts, if they draw 2-2 both of them will go, Italy just has to win and expect croatia or spain to lose, or at least draw 0-0 and 1-1, I think.

Spain has 7, Croatia 5, Italy 5 and Ireland 0 ( so far).
Croatia played 1-1 with Italy and beat Ireland 3-1, therefor they have +2 GD, while Italy +1GD, right ?
 
What a world class save that was by Casillas, saying that Rakitic really should score, sensational ball by Modric. Span will win this now.

Its head to head, not GD. So Italy would go through
 
And with this set of results:
Italy 1 Ireland 0
Crotia 0 Spain 0
Italy will go in first and Spain in 2nd. If it stays the same, which I dont think so.
