Belz, all my friends , family , that support benfica agree with me , if you're and "ultra" you won't ofc, you prefer not to see the true, like last season, refs helping you every single game and still you were only champions in the last game of the seson, wich is even more sad is the newspappers toay saying that our president had a dinner with the ref from the previos EL game.... Benfica today, didnt played well.. you never did this season, with your stupid manager saying "we're going to win the champions league bla bla bla bla" "we're gonna be champions again" ... Talk less, play more. You're manager is IGNORANT , claming that "we always score goals in any stadium, and that wont change tonight" ... So yes, I AM SERIOUS. At this time Braga is capable of beating Porto

Wow, everybody agrees Braga is the bigger team? Might as well change clubs, we don't need fans like that. You don't need to go ultra to know Benfica is a bigger and better team all round. They PLAYED better, credit to where it's due.

Blynd, mate, with all due respect, you also said Barça was the only team capable of stopping you, so... it seems to me you are comparing Braga to Barça. That sums pretty much your recent posts, and I will chose to cease the arguments.

Porto is in general the best team in Portugal aswell... still Benfica won against us this season 2-0... One game is One game... Braga can perfectly win one game against us... We trashed Benfica 4 times... Still you won 1 ... Remember my friend, it's a final, and it will be the game of Braga history.

**** YEAH BRAGA! Just got home from Uni, was hoping for a miracle and it happened, so proud of them, every single one of them, even if I barely know them! They won my heart in FM, now I'm hoping for them to win the cup in real life!

//Edit - still can't believe it, I'm so happy, lol. I have an exam on Saturday, I'm gonna get ******, but this has lifted my spirit!

I think Porto was a fair winner, although Braga was a good challenger, but Porto has a enormous talent-full team.
If we hold our best players (Hulk, Falcão, Moutinho, Guarin and James) i think we can do very well on this season Champions League!
And with all the signings will be simple amazing!
Kleber already made 6 goals in 4 games.
Iturbe is a very young talent, but he s very good to his age, and he is really like a Little Messi, if he get a good adaptation think he has what is needed to be a Star like the "Big" Messi!
Kelvin is another young promise, but i think he need to learn team playing, that aside he his a 18 in terms of technique and creativity!
Alex Sandro and Danilo are probably the most rising talents when talking about the Left and right Flanks! Very good in offensive support! And they cost 9M and 13M respectively, and one thing is sure, FC Porto do not waste money ever! If they buy a player for such a money they now that he will sell for much more!

Don't get too excited yet. I understand the fuss about you 'stealing' Benfica's targets. But all in all, you have to understand Benfica and Porto have the same scouting basis. As Sporting, and, on a lesser extent, Braga. Biggest clubs in Portugal (supposedly). Thing is, Benfica and Porto are the most capable teams of the lot, either financially and league-wise.

That said, you need to chill about Danilo and Alex Sandro. You guys hit it on the mouche with Alvaro Pereira, but Cebola is the other side of the coin. I won't even refer to the Iturbe/Messi comparison, something like the 'new' Messi just doesn't make sense to me. Would honestly love it if it were true, the replica of, arguably ofc, the world's best footballer playing in Portugal? No problem. I'll have to agree on James and the others. @ Kleber & Kelvin I have no comments, as I have no clue on how they play.

Now, do you really think you are ready to attack the CL? The team core is the same, and as we've all seen last year, it is capable of kicking arses, but you lost the main reason for your success, AVB. You got the best replacement possible, but I wonder if Rui is capable of stepping up. Big year for you guys, as it is for us.

Good news for Stoke City. 1-0 up against Hadjuk Split

stoke home or away?

They're playing home. Walters with the goal

The Zampaboys are losing.

It took a 92 min strike by Miccoli to save the Zampaboys from an embarassing home defeat against Thun.

And the Zampaboys are out.

Mainz out as well! Shocking results.

Brilliant news.

Zamparini rang up Amauri's agent straight after the game and told him to come see him tomorrow to discuss a contract.

He then told the media.

Absolutely brilliant Zamparini reaction, at least he didn't sack the coach at half time...

so thats Spurs, Celtic, Rangers, Fulham, Hearts and Stoke all in the playoffs?

Thats superb showing and hope everyone except spurs ;) get to the group stage !

are Birmingham still in it?

God, the worst opponent in that group. This will be a tough one.
