Perfect draw for us, short trip up to Scotland, not having to go somewhere like Russia etc..

Gawd I need to get a ticket for the HJK v Schalke match. A chance too see Raúl! HJK will be nicely arseraped, but come on, it's Raúl.

i wish roma got helsingborg just for the fun of going to see the away match, but i didn't have any luck. and not only we got slovan bratislava, but HIF got Standard Liege, depriving me of the pleasure to see both of "my FM11" teams in the EL groups

Hearts v Spurs should be a decent game one which I am looking forward to

After a good bit of hurlumhej I finally managed to get tickets for the HJK v Schalke match. HJK will win 4-1, with Raúl getting Schalke's goal.

2-0 :wub::wub::wub::wub:

Pukki owned Schalke totally. That was awesome. HJK will also win the away leg 1-0.

Hearts 0 - 5 Tottenham Hotspur
Van der Vaart, Defoe, Livermore, Bale, Lennon.

No Europe for Scotland, sad really. Something needs to be done regarding Scottish football.

The moment I typed that Celtic and Rangers scored. Still need another goal each to qualify.

Celtic and Rangers are out, and Fulham are through. Tottenham are heading into Friday's draw for the group stages at the expense of Hearts and Birmingham and Stoke are both cruising through too.

From BBC SPORT

Sad that thier's no Scottish teams left in it.

Brilliant match... Total score: 6:3
Schalke is through into the group stage! :D

Sevilla out already.

That club is in such a mess, can't see them finishing top 8 this season.

Horrible display.

Rangers/Celtic out...No surprise.

Luis Enrique got booed and jeered throughout Roma's game with Slovan Bratislava which they lost 2-1 over 2 legs.

They lost the first game 1-0 and Enrique took alot of stick for only playing Borriello/Totti for the last 15 minutes.

Tonight's game (In Rome) he started Totti and things looked good until Slovan Bratislava equalised it 1-1. He took Totti off with 15 minutes left to a chorus of booes and jeers directed at Enrique rather than Totti.

Osvaldo coming in should give that club a boost but I can't believe the fans have turned on Enrique ALREADY without him even playing a league game. Roma fans expect the world that's a fact but I can understand their frustration when they see the Bojan deal and Heinze coming in. Kjaer/Osvaldo do send a signal of intent but to be honest nothing short of the title will keep the ultra's happy.

SHAMROCK ROVERS have beaten Partizan Belgrade after Extra-Time to be the first Irish team to get into a European group stage.

League of Ireland teams still in a European Competition 1-0 SPL teams still in a European Competition

If only Borat or Pukki had taken one of their chances. HJK were already tired after the first half. After Schalke scored their third and fourth they didn't have the same kind of pressure anymore and played very well. Nevertheless their 2-0 win was one of the best moments in Finnish club football, shame they will be selling most of their stars (read: Pukki and Ring) and will be a lot weaker next year. I liked those Chelsea shirts they found somewhere btw.

Shamrock in Europe.. Does that mean league of Ireland > SPL?

Lol not sure about that, but they are getting killed in the co efficients. I was stunned by the startling arrogance of the two pundits on Sky sports news, after the games when talking about opposition, pretty insulting about Sion in particular.

Newsflash: they were considerably better than you
