Newcastle Complete Surprise SigningView attachment 231164
Newcastle United have today confirmed they have completed a somewhat surprising £3.5m deal for 22-year-old Morroccan playmaker Adel Taarabt. The troubled player has refused to play for QPR this season and has trained with the reserves since October, this is why the transfer comes at such a low price. The skilful midfielder scored 19 goals in the clubs Championship campaign and captained them to league glory. This signing comes on the same day as the Tyneside club announced Paul Pogba has not renewed his loan spell as Alex Ferguson is keen to see him get more firt team football and will send him out on loan to Portugal. Adel has signed 1-and-a-half-year deal with an option for Newcastle to add another 3 years at any time, Taarabt will wear the 'Number 7' shirt for Newcastle.

Even though this game was a disapointing for Newcastle and their fans, it would be ridiciulous for them to focus on it much due to the amazing season they have had. The luck was not going Newcastle's way today as chances from Demba Ba, Papiss Cisse and new boy Adel Taarabt went begging all day. Fulham capitilised when it mattered as Ruiz latched on to a killer ball to slip past Krul. Newcastle will surely dust themselves off, move on and focus on returning to winning ways next time out.

Also Newcastle are heading to the Carling Cup final as they drew 0-0 with Liverpool at Anfield, this secured a 3-2 aggregate win for Newcastle which will have Toon fans licking their lips at the prospect of the final.

I've decided that Cup games will not get full match reports to save time, only finals will get extended coverage.

Newcastle United managed to complete a last minute deal to sign 20-year-old Spanish winger Isaac Cuenca from FC Barcelona. The fee was a nominal one as the player was out of the contract in the upcoming Summer, he was highly rated at Barcelona. A product of the Barcelona academy, Cuenca impressed in the 5 first team games he played this term, scoring 3 goals.View attachment 231213
Newcastle have also faced an exit from the FA Cup as they recieved a 2-0 defeat from Aston Villa at Villa Park. Hutchinson is said to be more focused on the key league campaign.

Cabaye nets a belter as Toon gain 3 pointsView attachment 231216
Newcastle needed a win today to keep them on track for the title and they duly delivered. Danny Simpson grabbed his second goal of the season in what has been an impressive campaign for the right back. Blackburn gave Newcastle a run for their money for the rest of the game and they knocked the door down a few times but the game was silenced when Yohan Cabaye scored a volley from 30 yards that dipped into the top corner and left fans in the away stands wide-mouthed.

Papiss Demba Cisse and Demba Ba impressed yet again to gain 3 point as St James' Park. Cisse and Ba have now scored 31 of Newcastle's league goals between them as Ba has 20 and Cisse has 11. Ba added a fantasic header to his massive goal collection whereas Cisse netted two oppurtunist goals. It was nice for Newcastle fans to see that ex-Mackem Darrent Bent sealed the win with an own goal. Here is an update of the table:

Tyler Hutchinson has found that as long as he has Demba Ba and/or Papiss Demba Cisse in his team, he will never be without goals. Cisse got another two today and Demba Ba collected one. As well as this, Toon captain Coloccini collected his 4th goal of the season, all headers.

Guess who got the goals today?View attachment 231262
It seems that every Premier League defence has run out of options in dealing with Newcastles Senegales strikeforce as they grabbed a goal each again today. Ba and Cisse have eachother down to a tee as it seems if one isnt scoring they're setting up the other. It was all down to a script as Wolves won a penalty late on in which former Toon striker Peter Lovenkrands stepped up, and maybe Hutchinson saw the reason why he sold him in July, as he skied it right into row Z

Ben Arfa amongst scorers as Newcastle celebrateView attachment 231265
Tyler Hutchinson has led his team to Cup success with more trophies highly expected to be on the way. Hatem Ben Arfa, Papiss Demba Cisse and new boy Junior Hoilett got on the scoresheet as Newcastle claimed their first trophy in over 40 years! Hutchinson has led a magnificent success story at Newcastle after he transformed the whole outlook of the club and he certainly is a part of Geordie folklore with this success. Who knows what Tyler will be lifing come the closing day of the Barclays Premier League.

Demba Ba helps himself to 23rd goal of the seasonView attachment 231283

It was 1st versus 19th today as the Tyne-Wear derby got underway with the Black and Whites looking to highten the chances of a Premier League title, whereas the Red and Whites are simply fighting for survival! In a game of fierceness as both sides were playing for something more than pride or bragging rights. The game started off quiclky and scrappily until Demba Ba rounded Westwood and kept his composure to put the Toon ahead. Newcastle then found it hard to add to their lead and Sunderland defended very well. The Black Cats had a few chances of their own but its very unlikely in any game that a goal will be put past the brilliant Tim Krul.

Update could be late tonight fellas as I've got a football match,
Will try and replicate Ba's in game form haha :) bare with me guys and don't lose faith, Howay The Lads!
