I have just read through and it looks prmoising for the Evertonians! You've done a good job and a I like the realistic finishes as oppose to the usual stories of winning everything in the 1st season.
It would be good to know what tactics you are using?

'Inconsistencies continue'

Matchday 5 - Everton vs Blackburn
Newly promoted Blackburn were not quite up to the task today and were never at the races, meaning that we were able to win fairly easily 3-0. Bertrand Traore came into the team today for a start and delivered to perfection netting a brace which looked like the winning goals before Zaniolo scored with a wonderful curler from outside the box in stoppage time.
Matchday 6 - Wolves vs Everton
Following on from a big win we faced Woles in what looked an even contest on paper. We wanted to finally create some form of consistency and when we went up 1-0 in the first minute I was excited at the fact that we could have back to back games for once where we do well. Instead they turned it around and thumped us 4-1. Terrible second half performance - really poor.
Matchday 7 - Everton vs Aston Villa
Possibly the craziest game of my FM20 experience so far!!! It summed up our inconsistencies all in the one game! We went 4-1 up and were up by that scoreline in the 80th minute, before we completely collapsed and They scored two stoppage time goals as well as one earlier to level it at 4-4. At the point I was absolutely fuming - how had we managed this???!!!! But then Adama Traore popped up with his hat-trick goal in the 96th minute!!! I was breathless for about an hour after this game and thank goodness we managed to win it in the end.
Europa League Matchday 1 - Everton vs Djurgardens IF
Djurgardens were the smallest team in our group, so it was a good first European experience for us. We got a 3-1 win which could've been more, but we rotated a bit. Moise Kean still hasn't scored a goal which is really worrying me at this point. Hopefully he can start scoring again, because he was our best player last season and won the Golden Boot! I really don't know what's happened to him this year.
Carabao Cup 3rd Round - West Ham vs Everton
We exit early in the Carabao Cup but in all honesty I played what was about a 4th strength side which included 7 debuts for players Under-21. I know it's a trophy but the board don't care about it and with added European fixtures this season, I didn't want too much fixture congestion to take fitness away from our players. I was really impressed with the performance though and it was only a 1-0 loss which is quite a good result, although they rotated slightly as well.
League Table
We sit 10th in the League Table but have some more lenient fixtures next month. I'm hoping for us to find consistency within the team and start collecting more points.
Europa League Group G Table
We are joint top after we won against Djurgardens. Copenhagen stunned Monaco so we may have to watch out for them.
Monthly Manager Performance Summary
The board are now only satisfied as the results are disappointing them at the minute. I hope we do pick up some better results for my own sake as well.

Is there really something proprietary whatsoever about finishing in the top 6 with everton?

Matchday 8 - Newcastle vs Everton
We start off with a narrow victory against Newcastle who are struggling. We went ahead early via Cutrone but they managed to level it up which was the score at the break. The underwhelming Richarlison was brought on and delivered the winner on 82 minutes which a nice side footed volley. A close game but I feel we just about deserved to win it.
Matchday 9 - Everton vs Manchester United
Gutted not to have squeezed a win out here as we defended gallantly until Anthony Martial scored in the 89th minute to equalise for Manchester United. We went behind but got level within 60 seconds and Zaniolo, playing in a deeper role, scored a banging goal, curling it into the top right hand corner. We tried to hold out for a famous victory but they just about got a point in the end.
Matchday 10 - West Ham vs Tottenham
We are typically poor against West Ham but we upped our game a little more here today and in my opinion probably could've won. I rotated to reintroduce Moise Kean from the start but he still can't score seemingly. Thankfully after going behind we were able to get a point which was the minimum of what we deserved.
Matchday 11 - Tottenham vs Everton
A 3rd consecutive draw here but all of them have been respectable. A minor concern that we went behind in all of them but we've brought it back each time too. Tottenham had a poor season last year and aren't lighting it up this one either so they're perhaps not the same side that they once were. Two penalties today, one for each side and both converted. Otherwise, a pretty dull and uneventful match.

'Unbeaten Run Continues'
Everton beat Brighton 1-0 through a Richarlison winner
Matchday 12 - Everton vs Leeds
We began with a 1-0 win over newly promoted Leeds and it was unlucky not to be by more. I was expecting a victory today and thankfully a banger from Granit Xhaka gave me just that. They defended resolutely until then but after we should've added at least one or two more.
Matchday 13 - Chelsea vs Everton
A very respectable point against a big side in Chelsea. Adama Traore has probably been my best summer purchase bar Kyle Walker-Peters so far and that right side is now really flourishing with the two of them. It showed as they combined for the equalising goal, Walker-Peters crossing to the edge of the box for Adama to volley home after going behind.
Matchday 14 - Everton vs Crystal Palace
A hard fought and intense match was played out between ourselves and Palace here, but thankfully we managed to hold on for a victor. We raced into an early 2-0 lead, before throwing it all away. Thankfully, our super-sub Bertrand Traore, shining in his new role, popped up with a stunning winner 15 minutes from time which won the Goal of the Month award, as he ran from his own backline and simply sprinted through to stunningly finish low and hard into the corner.

We had another draw here against Monaco, but this time we went 2-0 up by half-time before, just like the Palace game, we surrendered the 2-0 lead to draw 2-2, this time no spectacular winner. We weren't helped by Jefferson Lerma being sent off as the Colombian did himself no favours on what was just his 3rd start this season, having been replaced by Granit Xhaka.

A second routine win against Djurgardens reaffirms our spot at the top of the group. Copenhagen had gone top prior, but the group is tight and AS Monaco beat them, so if we take anything away from our match against the Danish side, then Monaco, who will likely beat Djurgardens, will go through with us.

Just a note as to why there has not been updates for a couple days and probably won't be for the next few. I'm commenting this on a different device but my laptop has seemingly lost the ability to connect to a Wi-Fi network. Once that is fixed (hopefully) I should be able to get them out with regularity again. I've been playing through a few months so let me know if you'd like one big update to account for several months or the singular monthly updates as per usual. Thanks and hope to be back soon.

'Unbelievable form, Unbelievable Transfers'
Moise Kean scores his first Everton goal - against Newcastle
Round-Up
This post will be primarily transfer based as there were some major deals throughout the month of January. On the pitch, we have had our first patch of brilliant form and it just hasn't stopped. We are 26 games unbeaten in all competitions, yes 26!!! We won't be winning the league, but Top 4 is edging closer which is great news. December was packed with fixtures, as was January. We also drew FC Augsburg in the Europa League Round of 32 which is not a bad draw by any means - they are currently last in the Bundesliga. We had a major 8 month injury to Seamus Coleman as well - he wasn't playing all that much and given his age he has probably played his last game for us.
December Results
We started off with a 4-0 thrashing of Fulham, who are having a decent season after coming up from the Championship. We then drew to Sheffield United, so despite the run of form, a few draws still let us down. In the Europa League, we secured qualification but Kobenhavn dropped out due to Monaco winning. Beating Arsenal could be seen as a big win, but we were favourites, they just sacked their manager and we fully deserved to win. We kept two more clean sheets with wins against Bournemouth and Norwich, before we got one over a rival team of ours because they frustrate us so often, beating West Ham 2-1.
January Results
We kicked off January with a win against Lincoln in the FA Cup before we were held to a replay by Sheffield Wednesday in the next round, leaving me still frustrated with our cup performances. In the league, we didn't notch any massive wins, but got wins against smaller teams, with struggling Newcastle and Southampton falling to us and we also beat Aston Villa and Norwich in what were very winnable games. We also got a 2-2 draw with Manchester United which was very respectable. In the Villa game however, Moise Kean popped up with a winner in the 97th minute, which becomes the latest goal I've ever scored in FM (not including extra time).
Player Outgoings
I'm sure you'll look at this list and the major shock is that we have sold one of our very best players in fine form - Gylfi Sigurdsson! I spent hours mulling over the decision to make, but decided that at 31, he was getting past his prime and I begrudgingly decided to move him on. A tough decision, but the money goes towards a young exciting replacement. Elsewhere, underperforming team players Bernard, Jean-Philippe Gbamin, Sandro and Yerry Mina were moved on for a combined 40m or so. I think it was a successful selling window, especially in receiving decent fees for all of those four players.
Player Incomings
In - Yusuf Yazici - Lille LOSC - 27.5m
Meet Gylfi Sigurdsson's replacement: Yusuf Yazici. The 23-year-old has been plying his trade very successfully for Lille in Ligue 1 and I've brought the Turk in as an in-form replacement for the Icelandic attacking midfielder. For just a couple more million, a great deal in my opinion for player with the same ability as Sigurdsson, but 8 years younger. I also brought in a young GK named Razvan Sava from Juventus for 245k who will be a needed backup for Jordan Pickford.
In - Edson Alvarez - AFC Ajax - 54m
I smashed our transfer record with a deal for a world class DM/CB to add to our team. Edson Alvarez has been an amazing player over the last year for Ajax and I'm excited to have him join us as he becomes one of our best players at a young age. He'll be a starting CB for now, but can play very effectively in the defensive midfield role too. Two great signings to take our team to a different dimension.

We're 3rd! Our run continues, and if we continue this, we will be having a storming season and finishing in the Top 4. Here's hoping that we can continue this amazing run!

Hope you guys are on board with this decision - I will probably end the season with posts like this because of lost time so I can get into the 3rd season and return to normal.

Go with your gut for the Tottenham job, think you should get Everton to at least be a regular top 4 before thinking about leaving 
Definititely stay with Everton, a one club save is the best option IMO. If you consider switching clubs, better to start a new save with Tottenham or do a road to glory/non league to legend or whatever those saves are called, the ones where you play realistically as a manager and switch to bigger clubs when you get the chance.

Thanks for your feedback, it was probably my favoured decision anyway! Everton it remains.Go with your gut for the Tottenham job, think you should get Everton to at least be a regular top 4 before thinking about leaving

'Big Cup Fixtures'

Round-up
The January window proved a double sided coin as Yusuf Yazici is struggling to get to grips with the squad and is currently not performing anywhere near where Sigurdsson was - making my decision to effectively 'swap' those two players look all the worse. Alternatively, record signing Edson Alvarez has hit the ground running and has really shored up our defence. On the pitch, it has been pretty successful, but a lot of cup fixtures present a loaded fixture list, so we're having to guard against fatigue.
February Results
February saw us lose our first game in all competitions in some time, but it had little effect as elsewhere, we got very good results across the board. We started off with a win in the FA Cup replay to move on to the 5th round, and then proceeded to edge past Leicester through a late winner from Alex Iwobi. We won 3-1 away from home in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 32, and despite a disappointing result in the second leg we prevailed on aggregate. In between, we trashed Bournemouth 5-2, a side who have been capable of beating us in the past and then held our composure to get a goalless draw against Arsenal.
March Results
The main games here were on the cup side of the things, and we progressed in the Europa League once more, while Arsenal eliminated us from the FA Cup. It looked like the Round of 16 tie would go to extra time against Atalanta as they led going into the final 5 minutes of the second leg by the same scoreline which had won the first leg. Moise Kean popped up with a goal in the 89th minute to send us through! We were perfect in the league, although almost spectacularly bottled the Sheffield United game, having been 5-1 up with 30 minutes to go. It was less stressful against Fulham as we eased to a 2-0 win.
League Table
We have a hold on 2nd place at the current stage, while Manchester City suffered their first defeat by losing to Arsenal. Southampton edge closer to what looks and inevitable relegation, while Wolves also look to overachieve with ourselves and qualify for Champions League football.
Awards
In February, I won the Manager of the Month award, while Nicolo Zaniolo took home the Goal of the Month and Young Player of the Month awards in what was yet another successful period for us, despite our FA Cup elimination. Zaniolo has proven effective in both a central and attacking midfield role, and his price tag has been merited by great performances while he is still just 21!
