Very mixed bag of a start. More of the 5-1 win though please
Completely agree there mate! I'm afraid it might be a little bit of time before I get a next post out there, apologies.Very mixed bag of a start. More of the 5-1 win though please
hi mate, ive just started an everton save, could you please post a screenshot of your tactics.
Cheers for your comment. We still had a very good season as well! My tactics are in the post above. Thanks!I have just read through and it looks prmoising for the Evertonians! You've done a good job and a I like the realistic finishes as oppose to the usual stories of winning everything in the 1st season.
It would be good to know what tactics you are using?
Keep up the good work.

'Everton F.C. - Can the Toffees Break the Top 6?
Hello all, a 3rd fresh Football Manager 2020 start after forced restarts on the other two occasions. I'm hoping that there's no more corrupt saves and that I can actually enjoy and get to grips with the game before I start my long yearly journeyman save. That's why I'll be taking on the challenge of Everton F.C. in this one and will be attempting to finally get the club back into the Top 6 where they are so often tipped to make a challenge for. The job could soon be opening up in real life too, with manager Marco Silva under immense pressure to get results with the club labouring in 17th position. I am unsure if this save will run its full course of going all the way and winning trophies with the team, but will see as I progress.
Without further ado, I'm going to get straight into things. The club certainly has the players able to do the business and conjure that Top 6 finish. Everton, for me, are a club which has all the ingredients but can't seem to put them together to create a fine meal. My aim then, I guess, is to be the chef. Onto business and this will end the first post. I will review the squad, make transfers and begin the season in the next two posts. Pre-Season doesn't have many notable fixtures but the season opens with Manchester City and Chelsea in our first two games, so we can certainly make the right impression by getting results in those games.
Just the name of the story because Everton are also touted to finish in the Top 6 but they never do,Top...6?
Is there really something proprietary whatsoever about finishing in the top 6 with everton?
Definititely stay with Everton, a one club save is the best option IMO. If you consider switching clubs, better to start a new save with Tottenham or do a road to glory/non league to legend or whatever those saves are called, the ones where you play realistically as a manager and switch to bigger clubs when you get the chance.
Thanks for your feedback, it was probably my favoured decision anyway! Everton it remains.Go with your gut for the Tottenham job, think you should get Everton to at least be a regular top 4 before thinking about leaving![]()
