Moyes Sacked

Everton have revealed today that long serving manager David Moyes has left the club after a disagreement with the board.

Moyes had been manager at Everton for almost 9 years, bringing his team to respectable positions each year, so his successor will have to live up to big expections. Rumours are that amateur manager Sam Hardwicke could take the vacant role at Everton. But he will face stern competition from the likes of Martin O'Neill and Ian Dowie.
Everton Captian Phil Neville had this to say: ''Of course we will miss David, he has been a loyal manager and a great friend of mine, but we will look forward to having a fresh start with our new manager ''.

Breaking News
Everton have surprised the football world by appointing amateur manager Sam Hardwicke as next manager at Everton footbal club. Lets listen in to his first Press Conference.

David Moyes obviously did very well at club, what do you expect to acheive as Everton manager?
By the end of the season I would like the club to book a place in europe and possibly win a cup of some sort, because I believe the club is worthy of them acheivments.

Do you expect to bring many players in to the squad?
I will strengthen some areas of squad where I feel it is needed but I do feel the squad is quite strong as it is.

Are you nervous building up to your first professional season as a manager?
Yes, everyone feels nervous at some point, but I will show that there loyalty towards me is well used

Couple of reasonable results from the boys, Arteta was in top form throughout sparking interest from Real Madrid and Chelsea, which I rejected, without any regret. Seamus Coleman and Jack Rodwell looked bright scoring a couple each. My first two games are tough as you can see in screenshot, Arsenal then Liverpool so we will be tested really early. But I have trust we will do well.

I am happy with my transfers, especially Santa Cruz who I think will do well. Vass looks talented aswell for a cheap price along with Annan who are young prospects who are still good enough even now.
I let a few players who werent in my players go on loan cos they are not in my plans.

Everton bring in Santa Cruz

Everton have today revealed that Hardwicke's first signing is the loan of Paraguayan striker Roque Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz had recently joined Man City from Blackburn but he failed to get First Team football, so Everton have ceased the oppurtunity to sign him on loan. Hardwicke had said that Everton were short on quality up front so bringing in a striker is no suprise.

Analysis:
I got what I asked for in previous analysis, another good performance, hit the woodwork twice and had a goal dubiously disallowed, so maybe we should of won.

Analysis: Absolutely ecstatic with win. When chelsea scored we never gave up ( although i almost did :)) so i am really happy.

I just noticed it there and had a good look through , it is looking very good so far keep it up.

Good start. You've had a tough but very impressive start to the season. A couple of surprising results along the way too, with the exception of Wigan...considering you played with 12 men! haha

thabks for pointing that out mate, it is so hard to do when i havent slept in a few days
