F.C. Barcelona: A Giant Falls

View attachment 412243
F.C. Barcelona have managed to strike up a deal with the Spanish Government to keep their home ground.
They will Sell the ground to the Barcelona City Council for 300M Euro and rent the stadium for 2.5M Euro a year.

These are the end of amazingly harsh cut-backs forced upon Barcelona F.C.,
now on next to no money to spend, the Catalan club have to secure
the signature of a new Manager.

**** how are u going to deal with a 40 point deduction

Just going to have to win game I guess! Won't be going up this year, I can safely say that.
It's designed to keep me down so that the remaining good players I have will want to jump ship.

Great Idea mate and something different. Wish you the best of luck. (H)

Well, not to sound pessimistic :P , but what happens if you can't make up the points and end up being relegated?
plus, what happens to barca b if you get promoted, i thought the two teams can't stay in the same division?

Love the idea pal!

Bayern with Messi and Xavi? Gadaaaayum ;)

Avoiding the drop will be season 1's target. Should make for an exciting initial 12 months :)
Barca B can't get promoted untill I go up myself; their play-off/ promotion spot is given to the team beneath them.

**** that Guardiola, I've to stop letting him suggest my stories transfer ideas! P

GOOD LUCK, is all I can say. I guess you're gonna be promoting the youngsters? Selling them when they mature should get you more in the bank!

Aye, I'm indifferent to Barcelona personally (I'm a Villarreal fan) but there is a certain elegance to seeing a huge club fall spectacularly. Leeds for example.

Looks awesome can't wait for the start!

Sound man, will be updating soon.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the Camp Nou"

"The club would like to officially announce that we have come out of receivership and
and we are in a financial position to compete as a professional club once again"

"Our playing staff has been decimated by recent off the field events, many
of our veterans were players produced by La Masia. They arrived at 12 years of age, trained with us,grew into men with us and became a family with us. We are more than just a club!"

View attachment 411527"Which is why we have decided to reinforce this philosophy."

"We are currently 571 million Euros in debt, we no longer own
our stadium. We've been stripped of our titles and our right to defend them.
We have dropped down two divisions and placed 40 points behind or competitors"

"We only have ourselves to turn to, to rely on"

Forign Signings are what drove us to this, the pursuit of excellence they called it.

"I call it greed!"

Which I why we are making an announcement,
F.C. Barcelona will never again sign a player from outside our own walls. We will
strive to be completly self sufisiant and attempt to once again recapture our glory"

"La Masia is the greatest Football academe on this planet. We intend to honor that!"

"And without further wait, I would like to introduce to you, the next Manager of F.C. Barcelona"
