Team Name: S.S Lazio
Founded: 1900
Stadium: Stadio Olimpico
Capacity: 72689 All-Seater
Media Prediction: 11th
S.S Lazio are a team that have enjoyed success in their history, having been crowned Italian Champions twice, winning the Coppa Italia five time, Supercoppa Italiana twice, and the UEFA Cup winners cup and UEFA super cup once. Now though, the club are burdened with huge debts. The board need a manager that can not only ease their debts, but bring back the former success to their club. After Edoardo Reja decided to step down from his role of manager, Lazio chairman Claudio Lotito, decided to hire me, Jordan Rollinson as their new manager. I know that this will be a massive task to complete, but I believe I can bring back the success, and money, that this club so desperately needs.
Key Players
Mauro Zarate
Mauro Zarate
Mauro Zarate is my key main I will be relying on this season to grab my team goals. The 23 year old Argentinian striker possesses a good amount of pace and technique, and I will be looking for him to use these attributes to beat his marker. Zarate joined Lazio on loan in 2008/09 season before signing permanently one season later. Zarate has so far played 68 games for Lazio and has scored 16 goals.
Hernanes
Hernanes is my central midfielder and free kick specialist. The Brazilian midfielder is a determined player who will always battle for the ball. Once Hernanes has the ball at his feet, he possesses the ability to pick out passes and brings his team mates into play. I will be relying on Hernanes to create chances for Zarate to finish. Hernanes has just joined Lazio from Sao Paulo for £7.75 million.
Andre Dias
Dias is my hard tackling centre back. Dias has all the qualities you would expect from a good centre back, great tackling and marking. I will be looking for Dias to take control of the defence, keeping them all disciplined and organised. Dias joined Lazio in 2009 for £2.2 Million, also from Sao Paulo
Tactics
As a manager, I like to think up inventive and unusual tactics. I will though, look to fit my tactics around my players, rather than the players to the tactic. After assessing my team, I decided to make a 3-6-1 tactic (or it could be classed at 5-4-1.) I will have a chance to fully test my tactic over the pre-season period, and I will also experiment with other tactics. Tactics are obviously a very important part of winning a football match, and my job is to strive to create a winning one. This may take time, but I am confident I will be able to find a winning formula for Lazio and take them back to the top.

Pre-season and Tactics
Our pre-season fixtures contained matches against some lower level team around Europe. I got to visit many new countries such as Germany and Belgium. As the teams we were facing were of a much lower standard of mine, I was able to experiment with different players and tactics. After a few tweaks, I decided to stick with my 3-6-1 tactic. My tactics will encourage my players to play a patient passing game, waiting for the right opportunity to play a killer ball and score a goal. I will also look for the wing backs to be pushing forward whenever possible and provide crosses into the box.
Our team is now fully ready for the season ahead, and everyone is raring to go for our first fixture against Genoa. We will be travelling to Luigi Ferraris, Genoa's stadium. The odds on this match are in favour of Genoa, but I believe we can still come away with a win.

10 Man Lazio Earn Draw against Genoa
My first ever competitive match was slightly soured today by Stefan Radu who got himself sent off. He lost his head and needlessly elbowed Criscito in the face. I have spoken with Radu, and he has promised to improve his conduct. It was also disappointing that we conceded a very late goal. We got off to a good start though, with Matuzalem scoring a screamer from 35 yards out. Radu got sent off just 3 minutes after the goal, so I had to go to a more defensive tactic. We held of well, keeping Genoa out, but we were unable to hold them right at the end.

Pre Match
VS
Lazio: 7-4 Draw: 11-5 A.C Milan: 5-4
Lazio: 7-4 Draw: 11-5 A.C Milan: 5-4
Today is the second game as a manger and it is going to be a tough match. I will be favouring a slightly more defensive approach to the match today to try and deal with players such ah Ronaldinho and Ibrahimovic. It is going to be hard to deal with such great players, but I feel that we will be able to hold on to a draw against Milan

Lazio Earn Good Win Against A.C Milan
Today came my first competitive win as a manager. And what a team to get my first win against. The great A.C Milan. Bresciano grabbed the first goal of the game just before half time. Floccari then grabbed a goal after 57 minutes. Not all was good today though, Zarate had to come off because he had damaged his elbow after landing heavily on it. The injury could keep him out for up to 3 weeks. Still, Im glad to record my first win, and I will hope to get my second win in our next game, although it is another tough game against Juventus. They are another team that has to good talent, and we will have to be on our guard to keep them at bay

Pre Match
Today was going to be another tough match. The odds were slightly in favour of Juventus, as they have some quality players such as Iaquinta, Chiellini and of course, the amazing Buffon in goal. Hopefully my team will produce another good performance, both attacking and defensive, and get some more valuable point recorded on the league table.
