Manchester United

Man Utd the team i have supported since September 1995 the night Peter Schmeichel scored a stoppage time goal in the Uefa Cup, Over the next 19 years i've watched two of the unforgettable moments of my life winning 2 Champions League titles to add to the endless list of domestic success also enjoying many humorous moments over friends who supports Chelsea, Newcastle MR Klipster even City fans! Despite this in my 5 or so year writing storys here i've never written a Man Utd story. In fact since CM 01/02 i've not played a Man Utd save except the odd online battle with Klippybo probably due to the lack of a challenge. despite that i've always had the temptation to take a great side and make them an unbeatable force who can dominate the
world of Football.

I feel like i join the side perfect time as King Louis may say in real life. Moyesy took the brunt of the expected cursed 1st season without Fergie. Depending on the FM creators player ratings this team with Shaw, Di Maria & Falcao should be far better than the side in last years game that was only a few players off greatness themselves. The players i see keeping in the long term are De Gea, Rafeal, Jones, Shaw, Di Maria, Janazji, Mata & Rooney so over half the squad is already there.I will put the hours in to rebuild the U18s team while making 1 mega signing a season to make this side as great as they once were.

Early updates may be slow as Christmas at work is madness, got double the usual christmas shifts this year as well as all the live football and the NFL league season coming to a end. But once were into the new year i can hopefully get charging with this save.

Hey dude! Just fresh from finishing your manager story with the Scottish League. Fellow United fan here from Stockport wondering what magic you can pull here.

I can tell you that Falcao is amazing for the team if he remains uninjured. Definitely worth his end of season price tag. Good luck mate.

Season 1 2014/15

Pre Season
Man Utd dominate but Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool all get in on the action too. Liverpool's addition of Shawcross being and Arsenals bargain bit for Khedira gaining a tip from my hat.

Season Targets
Premiership - Top 4
FA Cup - Winner
Capital One Cup - Youth & Back up

In the League its a must that we return to the Champions League. A title challenge would be nice but 1st season so low expectations. I will only accept a defeat to a top 4 side in the Fa Cup which is my Champions League this season as we try and end our 11 season run without the FA Cup. League cup will be for back ups and youths

One mega signing as promised and a pile of you to restart the u18's as the coaching team is shaken up.

Man Utds biggest mistake in the past 10 years? He led the u18s then felt he was ready to play but Fergie didnt so off he went to Juventus on a free. to get him back i've had to fork out £56m. There was cheaper options but for the "United way" i had to bring back one of our own even if he was £15m more than Thiago who will have to wait till next summer hopefully.

2 years ago this an was one of the top bargain signings from that brilliant Dinamo Zagreb team. a few years and a few Italian teams later he has found his way to Old Trafford. May never be more than a back up winger.

3 youngsters come in to try and restore one of the worst u18 Man Utd sides i've seen. Tielemans on the recommendation of Klippby.

Out
Renovation part 1. Best thing is many a poor youth player has gone. Other best thing is i've sold Anderson useless fat slob is off to West Ham. Tyler Blackett did not look worth the £5m Fulham paid for him and the hardest player to let go is my personal favorite Darren Fletcher but sending him home to star in the Celtic team is far more appealing than making a handful of appearances off my bench.

Man Utd Team 2014/15

Back for will see Rojo & Evans fight for the starting job with De Gea and the rest of the defense sorted for the next decade unless we see miracle regens. A whole new midfield which nobody will deny United need. Bit unbalanced with all the attacking latino's. Ideally i'll get Mata trained to be the main attacking midfielder and let Di Maria back on the wings. Up top Januzaj is the odd player out here but for big games it will probably be Rooney or Di Maria while RVP is the stand out striker at the side. Despite having 3 world class finishers Falcao may turn out to be a giant waste of cash but we'll decide that in May. Tactic is the same as 2014 so far.

Title watch

Man City
Manager - Manuael Pellegrini
Vaule - £985m
Star Player - Sergio Aguaro
Season Prediction 1st

The Champions are favorites to retain sock horror. Like most teams they have there long serving stand out players in Sergio Aguero, david Silva & Yaya Toure. The rest are just support acts. At the back Vincent Kompany is the rock that holds it all together. They may be favorites but i see plenty of potential pot holes.

Chelsea
Manager - Jose Mourinho
Vaule - £1.1b
Star Player - Eden Hazard
Season Prediction 2nd

Chelsea's squad is by far the best. 2 of the top keepers on the planet. A selection of u21s ready to bust into the ageing defense. Depth to die for going forward and a totally rebuild front line with the superstar Diego Costa, Ancient Didier Drogba still capable of leading the strike force & Remy as 3rd choice. Not as good as Falcao but still when thats your weakest part of the team you can only be confident. Only signings they made in the summer i can only see being back ups both from Fiorentia winger Juan Cuadrado & former City reject Stefan Savic.

Arsenal
Manager - Arsene Wenger
Vaule - £780m
Star Player - Mesut Ozil
Season Prediction 4th

Like Man Utd a side bursting with quality players around there prime. Ramsey, Sanchez & Ozil could find themselves in any midfield in the world and adding Khedira to help out the defense may prove to be a masterstroke.

Liverpool
Manager - Brendan Rodgers
Vaule - £800m
Star Player - Mario Balotelli
Season Prediction 5th

Liverpool had there breakout season last time round but have lost there MVP Luiz Suarez. If Brenda can get there three headed offensive monster of Balotelli, Sterling & Sturridge working then they can fight again. Ryan Shawcross has a lot of work to do to fix the hole that is the Liverpool Defense

Beyond that Spurs? Maybe Southampton? Newcastle got forbid! Can any of them go for a Champions League position?

Erm Darran - was Moyes not the 3rd Scot??????? lol

I believe he was created by the imagination of Maruone Fellaini so that the big man could get himself a shiny, new, red shirt. Wouldn't that make him Belgian? Lmao!

August

3 Mid table sides and 3 comfortable wins. Only issue i have is our lack of possession. most games have been 50/50 despite the dominant wins we'll need to keep a aye on that when the tougher fixtures come along.

Man Utd and Southampton are the only perfect teams. Our amazing start, despite favorable fixtures. Yet to settle on a striker but RVP is running away with the goals per minutes ratio.
Liverpool Had a even easier start than ourselves but dropped points at home to Swansea. Still yet to concede a goal however.
Chelsea Like Liverpool a draw with Swansea kept Jose's boys from having a perfect record.
Man City Aguero is already looking like the 1 man team he is in real life as there defeat came to Chelsea at Stamford bridge. They won the Community shield and added Klass-Jan Hunterlaar for £5m on deadline day.
Arsenal The Gunners make a stinker of a start. loosing the community shield then loosing there Champions League play off to lowly Dnipro and to top it off they were trashed by Spurs & Southampton in a woeful League start.

Never knew you supported Man Utd as well mate and you're Scottish, we're almost twins... Wait!

September

Any hopes of a perfect season are ended as Arsenal hand out a beating it the Emirates. Carling Cup progress is secured by the kids and another Championship team awaits in the 4th round with Birmingham waiting.

Man Utd The defeat to a recovering Arsenal team took us off top spot with Spurs moving up.
Chelsea good run in the league until dropping points to Sunderland drawing 0-0 at home. Got another huge win against a title rival beating Arsenal 4-1 in the League cup however lost to Bilbao in the Champions League
Liverpool Held Man City to a draw at the Etihad but also drew with West Brom and the draw specialists Swansea. A win and a draw in a tough Champions League group while they were embarrassed by Yeovil in the league cup
Arsenal Only Crystal Palace could take points of Arsenal in September as Arsene got the title challenge back on track thrashing Man Utd to make the point. back to back wins in Europe too
Man City Bottom of the title chasers. Like there Manchester rivals they were thrashed by a North London side as league leaders Tottenham beat them 4-1.So far. 4 points from 6 in another tricky Champions League Group

Week 7

Man Utd Vs Leicester
The last game before the international break so i can play as strong a team as i like. Only man off the starting 11 is Angel Di Maria still making his way back from injury. For the foxes former United players Danny Drinkwater & Ritchie De Laet are set to play while current player Nick Powell is ineligible.

Man Utd 3-1 Leicester
View attachment 317228
Pogba sset us up with a goal right from the kick off to put us in control and a half hour later Valencia had the game in the bag. We kept pushing on to try and improve the goal difference but a 3rd goal wouldnt come till the 91st minute. A consolation came from the penalty spot in the last minute from David Nugent as United picked up the 3 points as expected.

The big game of the week was at Anfield were Chelsea and Liverpool fought out a draw. Man City also had to settle for a single point with a draw at St Marys. League leaders Tottenham squashed Sunderland with a hatrick from Robbie Soldado while north London rivals Arsenal continue there abysmal start to the season by loosing at Aston Villa who only had 10 men for 80 minutes. The Tottenham defeat was the end of the line for Gus Poyet as he was replaced by Martin Jol as the managerial candidate of the year.

Week 8

Stoke Vs Man Utd
Were back from the break with a trip to Stoke. As is now familiar we have a 7 day break after this so can play any 11 i want. Well except Lindegaard, Blind & Herrera who were all injured on International duty.

Stoke 4-2 Man Utd
View attachment 317075
Im stunned by this. We took the lead after 2 minutes so i decided to go upstairs with some washing to come back and find us 3-2 behind and Carrick injured. Nightmare so i went more attacking for teh second half. Plenty chances but No goals. 2 Attacking changes and threw another striker up top and again no goals despite lots of chances and Stoke and with former United striker Mame Diouf grabbed his 4th of the game! Back to back away games where we have let in 4 is a big worry. Early days perhaps but work on the tactic may be required

League leaders Spurs were beaten by Chelsea in a 5-3 thriller to move Chelsea up to 2nd. Man City, Liverpool & even Arsenal all picked up wins.

Typical wrestling fan! Awesome stuff so far, all the best for the story!

How you finding it dude? I just cant get into 15 one bit. Tried 4 different clubs the last few days and have not got into any of them as there are far too many goals going in - even with a defensive formation!!!!

I will keep plugging away though lol

I've not really got rolling with this save yet tbh. Not disliking it as i expected but the sudden defensive meltdowns are annoying. I see what your saying about the goals but when your getting further through saves is it really much different to the walkovers in previous years with Bilbao
