Week 9

Man Utd vs Swansea
The Welsh side had an impossible start to the year hence being in the relegation zone after 1 win from 8. However this will be no walk over as they have already taken a point from Stamford Bridge & Anfield and with a standard United depleted midfield, Only Fellaini & Di Maria make the squad after injurys wiped out all other 5 potential midfielders. If either of them go down either Rooney has to step back or Jones comes forward. There is nothing else in the tank.

Man Utd 4-0 Swansea

The team looked well fired up after the shameful Stoke experience. The now standard 1st attack 1st goal came from RVP before Young made the game safe at 2-0. Van Persie had the Hattrick in the bag well before half time. Second half was a snoozfest as the guys seemed to have settle for the 4 goals and looked forward to next week.

While all was going well for us inside Old Trafford things away from home were not to bad either. Sadly Tottenham picked up win but in doing so beat potential top 4 rivals Liverpool. Bad news ends there. Palace beat Man City thanks to a stoppage time Camakh goal. Hull held Chelsea to a 0-0 draw. QPR relyed on home form to beat Arsenal 2-1. One result that did mean the end of the line was Evertons 3-0 win over West Ham which saw them drop deeper into the bottom 3 and saw a turbulent end to the turbulent Sam Allardyce era. West Ham are one of the four sides that are standing out at the bottom of the table. At the top were now only 1 point behind surprise package Tottenham and Chelsea 2 points behind. Liverpool lead the race for the final champions league place. Man City 2 points behind in 7th and Arsenal oh Arsenal are having a mare in 10th on 13 points

Carling Cup
Man Utd 5-0 Birmingham

A back up side if you want to call it that saw off the Brummie's with absolute ease. Tougher tie awaits in the Quarter Finals as we face a trip Everton.

Week 10

Man City Vs Man Utd
The Derby
The Etihad is sold out for out for what may be a vital clash. City have to win to get back in the title race. Hopefully Citys extra time efforts in midweek will even out our terrible recent record on the road. This is just the kind of game we brought in Daley Blind for. He's injured. It ok though we still have Carrick. Wait he's injured too. This is just the game we signed Ander Herrera for but wait he's only fit enough for the bench. Fellaini and Pogba will have to have big games today. Man City are without captain Vincent Kompany

Man City 1-1 Man Utd
View attachment 316967
We set up to hit City on the break and got them right at the start of the second half with Wayne Rooney pillaging into the box to give us the lead. City quickly hit back and went on a rampage for the next half hour before they ran out of steam at the end and agreed a draw was best for all.

Results go our way once again. Chelsea stutter to a incredible 5th draw in 5 games and Tottenham lost at struggling West Ham leaving United to jump into top spot. Liverpool also drew and are now only 1 point ahead of Arsenal in the race for 4th. Man City stay in the hunt. Currently in 9th but only a further point off Champions League.

What tactics are you using? Cause your team seem to be performing well!

Same as in FM14 4-3-2-1 Midfielders roles depends on the games always 2 wingers are always supporting a complete forward.

Oh and how in the world did you sign Pogba, he never wants to talk to me [/COLOR]

Pogba was no problem what so ever. Only cost £170k a week in wages when i expected it to be over 200k. A few other big players had no interest in speaking but Pogba was easy as pie.

Week 11

Man Utd Vs West Brom
Old Trafford is the venue for our 2nd top of the table clash in a row. A point was a good result at Man City but here im expecting a win as Herrera & Mata starting to work there way back to match fitness.

Man Utd 4-2 West Brom

3 goals in the first 24 minutes had another game at Old Trafford in the bag very early on. Scot James Morrison scored a couple of consolations.

Spurs keep the pressure on at the top beating Hull in a 5 goal thriller. All the other top sides won this weekend. At the other end struggling West Ham appoint former player Chris Hughton as there new manager.

Week 12

Sunderland Vs Man Utd
Injurys have ripped through Sunderland since the international break. John O'Shea, Patrick Van Aanholt & on loan Ricky Alvarez are all missing. Not all good news for United either. Angel Di Maria tore his calf muscle and is out for up to 4 months and Van Persie got a knock but is still not properly fit.

Sunderland 2-4 Man Utd

They made a fight of it but thankfully for me the attacking unit is now in full motion and we managed to outscore Sunderland despite our defensive frailties letting us down again.

The London sides Tottenham, Arsenal & Chelsea all pick up big wins but the draw fest that is this year goes on as Man City draw at home to Newcastle and Liverpool draw for the 6th time in 12 games to Burnley this time.

Week 13

Man Utd Vs Chelsea
Chelsea are in trouble squad wise. Terry, Savic, Ramires, Matic, Fabregas are all injured and out. Costa, Hazard, Filipe Luis, Cahill & Ivanovic are all half fit so we have a great shot.

Man Utd 3-0 Chelsea
View attachment 316526
We pumped them! we were the better team in the 1st half but had nothing to show for it except a 5th minute injury to Robin Van Persie who will be out for the rest of the year. In the second half our goal scoring society kicked in. Rooney go the show on the road running from the midfield in a fashion not to dissimilar to what he did against Newcastle today. Star of the show Mata against his former club scored a stunner for the 2nd then the icing was on the cake for the 3rd.

Table

It was a great day for results outside of Old Trafford as well. Tottenham were held with a draw at Burnley helped us move 2 points clear at the top. The other sides all won as the battle for Champions League positions get exciting as we go into the 2nd quarter of the season. Not so good for Gary Monk who was sacked after an impossible start effected the team into the season.

Week 14

Liverpool Vs Man Utd
The two most successful English sides in history face off at Anfield. I expected this tie to play a vital part in one of us getting champions league football next season.

Liverpool 0-1 Man Utd
View attachment 316385
Liverpool had the better of the early going but we had the serious chances. The game threatened to collapse on us in stoppage time of the first half when mega signing Paul Pogba made our thread bear midfield even worse as he was sent off. We regrouped for the second half and captain marvel Wayne Rooney once again charging into the box to slot home what would turn to be the winner. Liverpool had less shots on target after the goal as we successfully shut up shop and our 10 men put up our best defensive performance of the season to get us the 3 points.

Tottenham win again to set up our top of the table clash next week. Chelsea returned to winning ways against Villa while the rest blew it again. Arsenal lost at Swansea while Man City drew at home to Everton who along with Newcastle are on the verge of a Champions League challenge if the big team keep dropping points so often.

Very good so far mate and an interesting match coming up against Spurs!

Week 15

Man Utd vs Tottenham
The fight for top spot is on. If we win here we will pull clear in top spot with some easier ties on the way after Christmas. Tottenham are almost at full power with only back up Aaron Lennon out and Christian Eriksen doubtful. We have much bigger problems with the spine of our side out injured. Jones & Pogba are banned while long term casualty Di Maria & Robin Van Persie are game changers we really could have been doing with in the squad tonight.

Man Utd 3-0 Tottenham
View attachment 316109
Rooney runs the rowt would be the headline. He won man of the match despite Adan Januzaj scoring two and making the other. The match was pretty one sided as our amazing home run goes on.

Table
View attachment 316108
So we know all about the top 2. Elsewhere results continue to go our way. Chelsea had a goaless draw at Newcastle. Arsenal got an amazing win over champions Man City who drop to 7th with a horrific record!

Week 16

Hull vs Man Utd
Fresh from there Europa League efforts mid table Hull. Former Don turn hun Sone Aluko and Mohamed Diame are out injured while Robbie Brady is also struggling to make it. Man Utds extra 4 days off can only work in our favor.

Hull 0-1 Man Utd
View attachment 315822
Not our most dominant win of all but its a champions win as they say. We dominated the match as expected and i must say that despite the struggle we had in getting the win our defensive performace was top notch keeping Hull away from the ball and restricting any dangerous efforts on De Gea's goal.

Table
View attachment 315819
Man Utd keep the gap at 5 points with the win on a strange day when all of the top 6 won. Newcastle's win over Liverpool saw there bad season go to worse in front of the Anfield faithful who will see them in 8th place heading into Christmas week.

Carling Cup
Everton 3-1 Man Utd
View attachment 315818
All our efforts were for nothing then! Played my strongest team so far in the cup yet but was badly let down. Johnny Evans did all he could to get a place on the transfer list this week. Asking for more 1st team football then getting sent off is not the best idea. Wont use that as a excuse as the game was all but lost by that point. A bad night was made worse as Van Persie on his final steps of recovery went of injured as we tried to force a equalizer with no luck. Most annoying of all was that all the other favorites went out leaving mighty sides such as Southampton, QPR and Stoke in the Semi Finals with Everton.

Week 17

Man Utd Vs Crystal Palace
Palace have been in free fall for the past month and with a few new injury worries including top striker Mauro Chamakh. Other lead forward Wilfried Zaha is illegible. United

Man Utd 3-1 Crystal Palace
View attachment 315772
That was total domination. Our most dominant performance of the season so far.

Table
View attachment 315771
Another swing in the title race as Spurs do what we did in the cup and loose to Everton. Chelsea win at Leicester to take over 2nd. Arsenal are the latest team to beat Liverpool as the join the race for 2nd. Bit of a gap now back to Everton & Newcastle. Man City in 7th and Liverpool in 8th lost again. Former United star Ole Gunnar Solasjaer takes charge at Burnley who we play next.

Week 18

Burnley vs Man Utd
A top vs bottom tie which in my opinion goes one way or the other. Either the top side destroy the bottom side or you get that rare day where the underdogs pull of some magic and get some vital points. As im resting players im hoping were not on the latter end of those results.

Burnley2-3 Man Utd
View attachment 315501
United made it pretty much as stresful as they could on me on boxing day. Burnley led twice either side of half time and Phil Jones red card, he was getting rested next time out anyway. Thankfully the old fashion never say die United spirit was in full motion today. as Valencia got us level then in a half hour spell where either side could have nabbed a winner we went on and did it thanks to Juan Mata again.

Table

Arsenals charge to the top 3 ends at Stamford bridge as Chelsea destroy the gunners 4-1. Liverpool got on the right end of the derby. Man City, Newcastle & Spurs all won to make there fans christmas that bit better.

Week 19

Man Utd Vs Southampton
Silly boy Phil Jones is banned and fellow center back Chris Smalling is almost ready to return from a groin strain. Southamptons season has began to go downhill after a good start they have only got 4 points from there past 5 games. There two main summer signings Fabian Delph & Obafemi Martins will need to continue there awesome start at the club if they are to get anything today.

Man Utd 2-2 Southampton
View attachment 315492
Domination means nothing if the real life leaky defense shows up. Soton actually took the lead in this one which instantly made me think this is going to be my winter of discontent, Everyone has a dodgy result somewhere around the christmas period and despite retaking the lead this it would turn out would be ours. Hopefully our only one due to Tadic's goal 10 minutes before the end. We lost Rafael to injury forcing us down to 10 men and basically ending our chances!

Table
View attachment 315491
Tottenham and Chelsea both won to take advantage of Uniteds dropped points as did Arseanl who are now probably the last team in the title fight after Man City & Liverpool drew again and Newcastle lost to Spurs. At the bottom 4 teams are split by 2 points. Burnley, Leicester, Swansea & Sunderland being the teams in question.

Week 20

West Ham vs Man Utd
Since Chris Houghton took charge West ham have started to move slowly away from the relegation zone. They come into this game without captain Kevin Nolan. Man Utd will be playing as strong a team as possible to avoid any more dropped points on the road.

West Ham 0-0 Man Utd
View attachment 315387
The kind of result i never want to see. Never expect United to not score be it home, away or even on the moon! Had control of possession and and 3 times the efforts on goals but as the saying goes 3x0 is still 0

Table

Once again Chelsea take advantage of our away day blues as they managed to win at Stoke. Arsenal beat Spurs in the north London derby and are now only 1 point behind. Will now only focus on these 4 teams regularly as i think the rest are too far behind.

FA Cup 3rd Round

Reading 2-2 Man Utd
View attachment 315385
We threw away a 2 goal lead and will need a replay as we draw a 3rd game on the road in a row!

Starting a little slip there mate! hopefully that will be turned round and Chelsea wont overtake you

Week 21

Man Utd vs Aston Villa
This is the game where we have to turn our form around. They have a full strength side to choose from.

Man Utd 7-0 Aston Villa
View attachment 315371
Rooney + RVP = 7. Did anyone know that? Villa sure didnt as we utterly destroyed them. Hopefully this will get us back on pre christmas form.

Table

No change in the top 4 as we all won. Arsenal away win at Hull being the most dramatic and impressive of the lot as ourselves, Spurs & Chelsea all had pretty easy games

FA Cup 3rd Round replay
Man Utd 4-0 Reading

No problems despite playing a near identical team!
