In terms of consistency, Yakin II is up there. Doesn't always get particularly high ratings, but plays the ball around nicely, and keeps things ticking over in the centre. Palmer is also up there for consistency, keeps our midfield working well.

In terms of exciting play, there are a couple. Mason, Baker and Hogg are all very entertaining, if at times a little unpredictable. Thunderfoot is also exciting to watch, just on the basis of the destruction he manages to cause down the right wing.

Hey, I am pretty consistent!!! ME!!! ME!!! ME!!!!

****, coach can't see me as I can't out jump the taller guys.....

Jack manbearpig best centerback on team woop woop.

REDGRAVE

BANANA THOMPSON BURHEIM FIREBIRD

LITMANEN DANCE PATRIK HOGG

ROBERTS POST

Bench: BIGGUN, MANBEARPIG, PALMER, YAKIN II, GOYZUETA

Bit rotational for this FA Trophy game, but one we should do ok with. In honesty, the FA trophy isn't that important for me, not until I have the league confirmed. Post starts up front with the returning Roberts, Hogg comes back on the left wing.

Roberts finally contributed when he scored from outside the box early on. Hogg then netted easily from a Banana free kick. Roberts then finished twice more before the break for his hattrick.

Alfreton got one back, but Goyzueta and Banana finished things off as we won in style.

Ratings: Redgrave 7.4, Banana 9.3, Thompson 8.4, Burheim 8.7, Firebird 8.3, Litmanen 8.4, Dance 7.4, Patrik 8.9, Hogg 9.2, Roberts 9.7,Post 7.1. Subs: Yakin II 6.7, Palmer 6.8, Goyzueta 7.8

With only 4 games now until our FA Cup 3rd round game, performances count double for now, as everyone pushes to be part of that match. With what should be an easy match, we test some different combinations. Roberts and Goyzueta form the strike pairing, but with Williams in close pursuit, there is no room for error.

Patrik gave us an early lead, finishing from outside the area. Unfortunately, our good start was not indicative of how things were going to go, and at the break, it remained 1-0.

Bringing Williams on for Goyzueta did the trick, as he set up Baker for our second. Roberts volleyed home in the 78th minute to seal the points. A nice, comfortable victory for us, as we continue our good form.

Ratings: Redgrave 6.9, Thunderfoot 8, Thompson 7.3, Manbearpig 7.7, Firebird 7.6, Mason 7.3, Patrik 8.3, Palmer 6.9,Baker 8.6, Roberts 8.4, Goyzueta 6.2. Subs: Yakin II --, Williams 6.8

Finally i'm scoring as CM. I hope my good form will continue in the near future.

Good to see Harrison getting rested. Got to give the other CB's a chance after all ;)

For the first time under my management, we keep the same team out for this one. With rotation expected for our boxing day match with Stockport, we give these players their last major chance to shine.

A note on the FA Trophy, still waiting on the draw, it may eventually happen, I hope.

After some simply dreadful finishing, Goyzueta slotted home in the 28th minute to give us the lead. With the downpour stopping, we suddenly looked less lethargic, and Palmer teed up Roberts to finish our second.

Mason finished number 4 with ease, after an OG had seen us take a 3-0 lead. We had won the game comfortably, but had BPA taken some of their chances, we may have been in trouble.

Ratings: Redgrave 7, Thunderfoot 8, Thompson 8.1, Manbearpig 8.4, Firebird 7.9, Mason 8.5, Palmer 9, Patrik 7.4, Baker 6.7, Roberts 7.6, Goyzueta 9.1. Subs:Williams 6.6, Dance 6.8

Three games in a row with no Harrison?! :O

good to see the team still picking up good results. Please let Harrison play against Stockport though (I live there :D) :)

FA Cup game to be shown on TV

Firebird out for 6 weeks to 2 months.

glad to see i'm keeping up the 100% winning when i'm on the pitch
Keep up the great work Godfish

Team still doing well there.

Are the players still moaning about the lack of first team football, or do you have most of that sorted now? Also, has there been interest from other clubs in the players already?

Generally moaning about that yes, although I've decided the players weren't training hard enough, so some are being noted as being worked too hard. On the other hand, the more punishing regime is working for some, Pinter has dramatically improved in training, as has Thunderfoot and Manbearpig.

Thanks, as long as people are still reading and commenting, I'll carry on. It's an interesting challenge, so I'm enjoying it

REDGRAVE

THUNDERFOOT HARRISON SCWARZENEGGER WHYTE

LITMANEN PETERS YAKIN II BAKER

GOYZUETA WILLIAMS

Bench: BIGGUN, MANBEARPIG, POST, PALMER, ROBERTS

Taking recent injuries into account, and form, we mix it up a little. Roberts misses out so I can get a clearer idea of a potential strike partner. Yakin II and Peters both return in the centre, Mason drops out for Litmanen.

View attachment 309247

Baker scored after 5 minutes, as our early possession paid off. It took us a while to get the second, but Williams buried a close range shot to double our advantage.

Some shocking defending saw Williams get a second with our first attack of the half; his original shot was deflected into the path of Litmanen, who set the Welshman up for a second go. A hattrick was to follow, as he turned in a superb Thunderfoot cross.

Litmanen got a deserved goal late on when he turned in a Whyte freekick, however, Post was forced off with injury soon after.

Ratings: Redgrave 7.6, Thunderfoot 8.7, Schwarzenegger 8.3, Harrison 8.7, Whyte 9, Litmanen 9.4, Yakin II 7.9, Peters 7.8, Baker 9.2, Goyzueta 7.4, Williams 9.6. Subs: Post --,Roberts --

Note: Post out for a month-ish with a twisted ankle

Just as a side note, after our big fa cup game, I'll be swapping the format around to a month by month format. This is to ensure we get a lot further through this file, and that we get to see some proper player development. I will put the ratings for each match though, as normal, so you are able to track how often your player is playing, and how well.
