Also if you click register and then close the web browser that pops up immediately, you should then be able to click continue and use IRC without registering it.

Anyway, If i recall you should get a prompt box that asks you what programme you want to open it with and then you select mIRC?

Just had a look there. According to that: http://ircle.com/ and http://snak.com/ are compatible with MAC and you can access the same channels. So I would give that a try.

Go to Tools>Options>Servers>Add>irc server put this in.....irc.deepirc.net

click ok, then double click that server,close down the options screen and connect. Once connected /join #fmbase

I used to agree, however after buying one, and using it for one week i would never use windows again, ever!

Iv had my macbook for over 2 years now, and it hasn't slowed down at all, iv got LOADS of music, pictures, programs etc on it. Its never crashed, its never broken. It is the most reliable piece of kit i have had.
Once you get used to them they are fantastic! Thinking about it i cant actually believe how long iv had this laptop, and how reliable its been oO) quite shocking really.

Iv tried the one chat client thing that was suggested and the server doesn't appear on the list :S and you cant type it in manually
