FM Base IRC Room

Hey, just wondering if people still use this, as I downloaded yesterday, but haven't seen anyone online in the #fmbase room yet, so was wondering if it was working right? Thanks!

There are loads of people in it atm. try again.
 
Must be something you have done wrong. Room is busy pretty much all the time now.
 
You obviously arent in the right place, there are always people online, theres over 10 of us right now...
 
Thanks, but still can't seem to get there at the moment. I'm following the instructions from Lee word for word, and can't think what I'm doing wrong?
 
Have you tried clicking on the link on the front page?

lol, I seem to be the only person in the IRC at the moment :P
 
It has been ******* up a bit recently. Just try again in 15mins.
 
No one is on at the moment anyway. Just give it some time.

You just have to wait about 10/15 seconds and the continue button enables itself.

Its making a point that it wants you to buy it but at the same time its not going to be a **** about it

in the main window type

/server irc.deepirc.net

When it connects just hit close and type

/join #fmbase

The windows on the left are channels and servers you're connected too, the window bottom left is last message from each room you're in. You can close these windows if you like to keep the confusing to a minimum.

Whoever runs this, why the **** dont you use Mibbit?

Derp. Maybe think before you speak?

Mibbit, Mirc, Xchat, or whatever client you use are all able to connect to whatever servers and channels you want.
 
Yeah but mibbit can just be hyperlinked rather than downloading an IRC client that serves a need that need not be fulfilled...
Easy, register the mibbit IRC channel with coldfront as the host server and its simple easy, connectable and works 24/7
Just an idea mate
