FM Gripes/Questions - Slight Annoyances... Does this happen to you too?

Another gripe.

Seriously, when why do AI clubs reject your insane offers (no withstanding derbies with them or anything) yet you check up on the same player a month or so later and they've moved for a fraction of the price.

It's like the AI clubs are programmed to make it harder for us as a player, which gives the game an unrealistic feel

Easy.

You make an offer. The AI rejects because they don't want to sell.

*At this point the human manager walks away and never keeps tabs on the player*

The player goes to his AI manager complaining about the rejected bid, gets unhappy and the AI manager decides that it reluctantly may need to sell. Other AI clubs bother to keep an eye on developments so at that point they put in offers while the human manager has completely forgotten this player exists.
