FM10 is too hard!

Its harder you have to adapt to weather and every little change in each game you have to watch every second closely
 
if you conceed goal no matter what tactic in the world you use. the most i got without conceeding was 421 minutes. its really hard to keep clean sheet.

It's been easy for me in Notts County...having the highest budget in league 2 and now in league 1 i managed to finish first last season and for now I'm 4th in 12 played games :) Anyway i think that the FM2006 was quiet easy :)
 
I don't find a problem with it. Its challenging as it should be, and I can beat anyone on my day, also lose if my players aren't at the top of their game. But as said before, the right tactic and instructions do help
 
I think in terms of difficulty the step from 08 to 09 was a lot bigger than from 09 to 10. The game hasn't got more difficult just a lot more realistic. And some of the biggest bugs(except the penalty bug) have been sorted out. The corner cheat doesn't work anymore for example.

Spot on mate, its not fun constantly getting beat. I can understand the hardcore players who like the realism but its just too heavy and bogged down with all the tactical roles etc
 
I agree, its not fun to constantly lose, but part of the game is getting out of that, read max's tactical guide for help on roles and team instructions, just type max, into the search bar and its the first thing that comes up
 
It is hard but you can easily rectify the difficulty by starting a new game with a rich, successful club and you can set your experience as international footballer.
 
I'm also finding it surprisingly hard, to sign to some players that I could before, Because now the demand for money is so high, I could sign Romelu Lukaku for just 5 millions, now I've got to pay 16.75 million :O

Try to find similar players who aren't as expensive cos you'll find yourself paying over the odds for players, I do all the time. There's a good thread on here that mentions several players who have the potential to be world class, and at the same time aren't too expensive.

I completely agree with that, previous versions were littered with starlets that have done sweet FA IRL since. Also previous games had players that were at best average IRL but on FM / Champ Man were legends. (thinking Taribo West amongst others).

I find myself buying established players and developing youth players alot more in FM 2010. No more splashing millions on unknown youths from the swedish 3rd tier.

This is by far the most realistic game released by SI and long may it continue. Well done SI (H)

Some of the scores are slightly unrealistic but you've only got to look at Man Utd putting 7 past AS Roma in CL a few seasons ago, or Chelsea demolishing Villa 7 v 1 a couple of weeks ago. Even the lower leagues produce a lot of goals, think cheltenham and rushden (Not 100% on two teams) played out a 6 v 5 result in league 2.

Even pre-season can produce some shockers, any remember Leyton Orient register a flukey 6 v 1 over Championship Champions elect earlier in pre-season? :'(

I agree. We had:

Tottenham 9-1 Wigan
Chelsea 7-1 Aston Villa
Man Utd 7-1 Roma
Chelsea 7-2 Sunderland
Luton 8-0 Hayes and Yeading

You get these scores. Enjoy them. :D
 
Player for some reason, get injured easily, In my Arsenal I Have like 5 players out :O
 
it can be frustrating. My Barnsley save ****** me off so I end up playing Madrid. Still working on the right tactic
