Haven't updated in a few days i think. Was busy with work and Harrier's Club subscription. Check it out lads, its a **** of a start to the story and an interesting twist. :D Anyway, i will add 2 updates tonight.

JANUARY & FEBRUARY Updates:

The biggest news of the Lost Talent Story came at the turn of the new year when Real Madrid splashed out $25,000,000 on Javier Squeekles. After spending exactly a year with Napoli - making 37 appearances, scoring 14 goals and assisting another 4 - Real Madrid felt that Javier was good enough to make his way to Madrid and don the Los Merengues shirt. Javier hasn't disappointed one bit since joining the club. He has already scored 2 goals in 4 appearances. Here is the contract that Javier Squeekles has signed with his new club.

For a 20 year old, this must be a dream come true. Coming from one of the worst places in South America, it has been a great rise to stardom.

Another player to make a permanent move was Reginald Bottomtoucher Jr. Returning to Chvias from his loan spell from Tolima, another Colombian club took notice of Bottomtoucher's great play from last season. Deportivo Cali decided to spend their hard earned cash,*cough* drugs *cough*. Reginald's contract will see him stay another 4 years in Colombia, close to his family and friends. He has already picked up 3 assists in 4 matches started. Deportivo also won their Copa Libertadores Preliminary Round 9-0 on aggregate. With a 6-0 beating at home. In the league, they sit in 2nd place of the Colombian 1st Division First Stage with a 2-2-0 record. The fans were so excited about Reginald's return after a month away that he was given a rousing ovation on his first match for Cali.
maccabihaifa.png

Messy Hallow has showed concern over the lack of first team opportunity. The Brazilian has come out to the media by saying he wasn't happy with the lack of playing time and will want to look for a club that will give him more time to prove his worth. How far the row will last between the club and him is unknown. He was only able to make 3 appearances in the past month with 1 goal under his belt. Since the story has made the newspaper, there is some talk that Corinthians, who had Hallow on loan this past 6 months are looking to sign him on a permanent deal. With Dortmund in the hunt, Messy Hallow might have different ideas.
universidad.png

Raul was center stage again for Universidad de Chile. This time by smashing the record for the fastest goal scored in the Chilean League...12 seconds into the match. In the Preliminary Round match of Copa Libertadores, Universidad de Chile were kicked out of the tournament with a 5-5 score on aggregate against Banfield. This year has been exceptional for Raul though, smashing the net 8 times in 6 match appearances. Collecting 1 assist and 2 MotM awards on the way. Universidad de Chile are also top of the league tied with Colo Colo on 16 points.
youngboys.png

After breaking his goalless streak, Ignacio Ballena has gone on a hot streak and has scored 5 goals int he past 5 games. Scoring 2 in one game to give Young Boys a 3-2 win over Basel in one of his best games of the year...well only second to the 4-goal game he had at the start of the year. Half way through the season, Ballena has already scored 15 goals for Young Boys, helping them rise to 2nd place in the league, only 6 points away from Zurich.
atlmadrid.png

Valderrama has finally ended his 10 hour goal drought by scoring a goal against Zenit St. Petersburg. He has gone to score a 2nd goal since, raising his goal tally to 11 goals in 34 appearances.

Finally, after 25 caps, Juan Pablo Miguel was able to score his first goal for his national squad in a hard fought 3-2 win over Paraguay. It was also a much need 3 points to help them stay close to the qualifying zone. Argentina have put a distant away from Brazil after they were able to see them off with a 3-1 win. Argentina now have a 6 point lead. But knowing South American football, they should not start slacking off any time soon.

OTHER News:

- As we mentioned before, Real Madrid splashed $25m on Napoli's Javier Squeekles. Making the deal the second highest of the transfer fee of the Winter Transfer Window behind Manchester City's $25.5m transfer fee for Gabriel Torje from Werder Bremen.

Real Madrid?!?! Cerainly didn't see that one coming! Great start aswell! Really looking forward to this season with Madrid!

Yay. Hopefully being sold soon. Might actually get to play :D

I'm honoured haha.
Oh , do share the idea ;D

Seeing how this isn't the first Lost Talent and hopefully not the last, i will work on a Lost Talents' All-Time Stats and Hall of Fame thread. I will work on it and when its ready, i will start the thread for everyone to see and will update it every FM year that passes by. :D

MARCH & APRIL Updates:

metalist.png

We will start our new update with Juan Pablo Miguel's first trophy. Metalist ended up winning the Ukrainian League with a comfortable 8 point lead over Shakhtar Donetsk. Metalist dominated the league with 57 goals for and only conceded 21 though-out the season. Juan Pablo Miguel scored 3 of the 57 goals and was instrumental in helping his club winning the trophy.

'Classy Squeekles on form for Real Madrid!' That is what the Madrid newspaper's headlines read the morning after Squeekles put on a clinical display by scoring 2 goals within 5 minutes against Malaga. Javier has been doing a great job with his opportunity given by his manager, Aitor Karanka. For a 20 year old, having a goal in every 2 games in a Spanish League is just extraordinary. In 16 appearances, Javier has already scored 8 goals for Real. With 2 games left in the season, Real Madrid are in 3rd place, 3 points behind Barcelona. In the Champions League, Real Madrid have made it to the Semi Finals and beat Inter Milan 3-2 in the first leg. News off the field has it that Real Madrid will expand their stadium to accommodate 13000 more cheering fans. It will take 4 months for the expansion to end.
maccabihaifa.png

Messy Hallow has been in the news of late, whether you agree with him or not, for not getting much time as of late. He hasn't let the media get to him though, in the next match Messy Hallow went out to prove a point and it only took him 10 seconds to send the home fans into a frenzy. Breaking both the team's and the leagues record for the fastest goal ever scored. He has gone to score 5 goals in his 9 match appearances for Maccabi Haifa with 1 assist. Maccabi Haifa also ended up winning the Israeli League. So even though Messy wasn't first choice since he came back to Haifa, his contribution was enough to help his team to a League Title.
gremiog.png

We didn't update anything from Brazil in our last update. Now Hulkster has scored 14 goals in the state championship, in which many consider a pre-season to the Brazilian League. Than again, Gremio lost to Internacional in the Gaucho State Clausura Finals...but not before winning the Apertura Finals against the same opponents. Overall though, Hulkster has scored 17 goals in the past 4 months for Gremio in all competitions. He had made 20 appearances and picked up 3 assists and 2 MotM awards on the way.
cruzeirof.png

Cruzeiro's Matthew Cameron has been as prolific as anyone else in Brazil since the turn of the year. Scoring 12 goals in as many match starts. It has helped Cruzeiro go on an unbeaten run that that will see them go head to head with Atletico Mineiro in the Minas State Finals in the coming month. It seems that the new $3500/goal bonus has spurred him on to do better...money hunger fool!
marseille.png

Forgot to mention in the earlier update that Martin Batistuta won the Player of the Month in January in the French Ligue 1. Since then Batistuta hasn't had a good run of form. He hasn't been able to score any goals in the past 5 games to keep him at 9 total goals in 27 match appearances for Marseille.
universidad.png

Raul has been getting praise from every opponent's manager before every game as of late. And no wonder why. 15 goals, 4 assists and 3 MotM performances in 12 appearances will give you praise from anyone and everyone. And it doesn't seem that Raul will slow down anytime soon. His form has even got him call up to the Chilean Senior Squad. Unfortunately, Raul was not able to make an appearance in the South American Qualifying 1-1 draw against Paraguay.
olimpiab.png

Olimpia have a rising star in their ranks it seems. Since the start of the year, Oswaldo Nino has made 7 appearances, scored 2 goals, picked up 5 assists and 2 MotM. He hasn't been an angel either. It seems that he is becoming feisty, already picking up 2 yellow cards. Olimpia have only been able to make it to 5th place though.

It was a dissapointing round for many of our Lost Talents players. Venezuela got the biggest shock when many thought they would come out of Peru with at least a point. Javier Squeekles had a rough time against Brazil. Javier was only able to get 3 shots away with only 1 on target. Shocking that Javier is used to have much of the plaudits when Bolivia play.

OTHER News:
- Maccabi Haifa broke the record for most points in 1 league season with 69 points.

Haha isn't it amazing on what a little price can do to a fellow. Time to get your nose out of the sky, and start peeking it against the goal.

MAY & JUNE Updates:
atlmadrid.png

Valderrama made the headlines on World Soccer Magazine, Eurosports.com and Goal.com by putting one of his greatest performances for Atletico Madrid against Real Madrid. After putting Atletico ahead after only 5 minutes, Kennry was responsible with 2 others to give his club a 4-3 over their greatest rivals. Valderrama has picked up 16 goals and 7 assists in 48 appearances this season while helping his club finish in 4th place in La Liga.
421.png

It took Reginald Bottomtoucher Jr only 20 league matches to break the record for the most assists in one season with 10 overall. Breaking the League Record for Colombia's First Division First Stage. He was also able to score 6 goals. In 27 appearances over all competitions, Bottomtoucher Jr picked up 13 assists, 6 goals and 5 yellow cards. After finishing first in the league table, Deportivo Cali lost their 1st leg 1-2 against Millonarios in the First Stage Finals. The 13 assists is also Deportivo Cali record, and with half a season left to go, its only natural that this record will be added upon.
youngboys.png

Ignacio Ballena got some more praise by his peers by scoring 2 goals in one match against Luzern to finish the year with 20 goals in 38 match appearances over the course of the season in all competitions. Young Boys were only able to finish in 2nd place of the Swiss League. But he was able to get a few caps with Uruguay and score his 2nd international goal on the way. Young Boys have also announced that they will be upgrading their Training and Youth Facilities as well as installing a new undersoil heating.
maccabihaifa.png

After winning his second medal in 6 months, Maccabi offered a 5-year contract extension to Messy Hallow. Messy, with 24 months left in his current contract, declined the offer saying that the wage offered was too low for his liking. With Dortmund high on the list of signing the 21 year old Brazilian, rumor has it that Benfica has joined the list of teams interested in the hot talent.
gremiog.png

Gremio have started the Brazilian League season on a hot streak. Losing only 1 match in their first 9 match to head the table, placing them in 1st place due to their goal difference. Hulkster, over both the State Championship and Brazilian League, has already scored 21 goals in 28 appearances for his club. Gremio also win the Ultimate Gaucho State Championship Finals by beating Internacional over the 2 legs. Hulkster will hope that this year will be the year he will help Gremio win the Brazilian League.

Nautica from Brazil's First Division have signed Oswaldo Nino on loan until the end of the season. Many though Olimpia wouldn't send their young player away on loan seeing how he had a great start to the season. In 9 appearances for Olimpia, Nino picked up 8 assists and 3 goals and 2 MotM performances. So one could see why Olimpia fans were crying ****** murder once the deal was announced. Nautica at the moment are in 3rd place in the Brazilian League and adding such a talent to their ranks, they will now be hunting down Gremio and their other Lost Talent star, Hulkster.
1736j.png

Javier Squeekles has been a revelation for Real Madrid this year. By the end of the season, he was able to score 9 goals in his 18 appearances as well as picking up 2 assists. One of his goals came in his last match of the season when he scored the opening goal in the finals of the Copa del Rey against Sevilla, in which Real Madrid went on to win 3-1. With the Copa del Rey win, it finally gave Javier Squeekles his first taste of triumph.

Ignacio Ballena has finally scored his first goal for Uruguay in the World Cup Qualifier. Ballena got off to a quick start by scoring Uruguay's goal in the 13th minute, only to see Argentina hit back with 3 goals without reply, with Martin Batistuta putting the game away in the 81st minute with his only shot of the game.

Javier Squeekles also got on the scoresheet for Bolivia. Colombia had went ahead after only 5 minutes, but Bolivia fought back to win it 2-1 with Squeekles hitting the game winning goal 5 minutes away from the final whistle. Sending 35,000 fans in high mood after the win.

Venezuela let a point slip away after had tied the game in the 68th minute, only for Chile's Orellano to put them back ahead only minutes away. Brazil also had a tough time getting a point in the bag. They were only able to get a draw from the penalty spot in the 51st minute.

With Argentina's win saw them expend their ranking lead after Brazil's unexpected draw against Peru. Messi is also now ahead in the stats departement with the most Goals and Assists. 15 goals and 7 Assists. Martin Batistuta is only 2 assists behind him. Messi also has the most MotM performances as well with 7 in 14 matches.

Another quality update , i love your writing style! Good to see Squeekles has had a good start to Real Mardrid!

and the national team could do with a little Bottomtoucher action cause Columbia's qualification chances arnt looking good!
