NOVEMBER & DECEMBER Updates:
universidad.png

After spending the year honing his skills with Botafogo, Raul has decided to it was enough and that he would love to move back to his previous club, Universidad de Chile. The management were happy with his progress and were gladly ready to give him a new contract. Raul was able to bag in 16 goals and create 5 others with Botafogo. His wage raised to $1100 a week and will be with the club for the next 2 seasons. His yearly wage will go up 15% as well has having a $4,000,000 minimum release clause.
velez.png

Javier Squeekles is another loaned player who decided to go back to his contracted club by declining the the contract from Internacional. Javier was only able to make 19 appearances and scored 7 goals. As we have seen though, his real success came in International matches where he picked up 6 goals and 4 assists in 10 matches while picking up 3 MotM awards. Velez finished the Argentinian Apertura in 12th place and Velez will be hoping Javier will be able to finish in better position during the Clausura.
chivas.png

There are talks of Chivas maybe loaning Bottomtoucher Jr to Colombian club Millonarios to give the young lad some much need first team football. Whether it happens is still in the air though. Surely it would be a good move for Bottomtoucher to up his game until some room opens up in Chivas' senior squad. Kenrry Valderrama just came back from the U-20 World Cup a Champion to break the Argentinian U-20 domination as of late. So he should be coming back from the tournament and mini break with high moral.
marseille.png

Since joining Marseille in June, Batistuta's wage has risen to $33,000 a week and his estimate has sky rocketed to $18,250,000 after making 6 appearances for Argentina's senior squad. He has also scored 5 goals since our last update to give him a total of 9 goals overall. Martin was also able to score 1 goal for Argentina and collect 3 assists. Marseille were knocked out of the Champions League Group Stages and will now be facing Shakhtar Donetsk.
olimpiab.png

Oswaldo Nino is being looked at by both Botafogo and Sao Paulo. In two more International matches, Nino was able to pick up another assist. Olimpia were not able to get higher than 3rd place in the Paraguayan League.
gremiog.png

Hulk Hogan racked up 3 awards this year. First was being named Supporter's Player of the Year, was named in Gremio's 2015 Starting 11 and was named into the South American Starting 11 for 2015. All it took was 24 goals and 10 assists for his club to pick up these awards. It wasn't enough to win any trophies with the club though, finishing in 10th place. Hulkster scored closeto 66% of the team's league goals.

Javier Squeekles continued his fine International form with Bolivia this time scoring twice and collecting an assist in both matches. Martin Batistua also was in tip top shape by collecting 2 assists over the two matches played for Argentina. Nino was another player to pick up an assist.

As for the Qualifyin stage, it is no surprise that Messi has been running the show for Argentina. Already scoring 7 goals in 4 matches. Including a hat trick against Colombia.

OTHER News:
- Cristiano Ronaldo swept this year's awards by winning both World Player of the Year and FIFA's Ballon d'Or. Making him a 2-time winner of the Ballon d'Or.

JANUARY & FEBRUARY Updates:

napolih.png

Napoli dropped a bomb this winter transfer window by landing the hottest South American player at the moment. After getting a new contract from Velez just weeks earlier, Javier Squeekles got an offer he cant refuse...and so did Velez. Napoli splashed out over $12,000,000 for the young Bolivian sensation's services. Before his trip to San Paolo, Javier told us over the phone how eager he was to make an impression at his new club. Since arriving at Napoli though, Javier has proven himself and than some. In 6 appearances for Napoli, Squeekles has already scored 4 goals for his new club. He is already 9 goals away from reaching his yearly goal landmark bonus target of 15.
tolima.png

After a shock move of Javier Squeekles to Napoli, another shock transfer came in the form of a loan deal that will see Bottomtoucher Jr go back to his homeland to play for Deportes Tolima. It seems to have been the right move for the 18 year old, he has gelled in wonderfully with his new teammates. Already scoring 2 goals and getting awarded for 3 other assists in only 4 games played. A much needed senior squad football for the son of a legend. Bottomtoucher Jr wants play some more tough, to prove himself worthy for the national team.
olimpiab.png

Oswaldo Nino commits his future to Olimpia by signing a new 3-year contract that will see him receive $5000 a week with a wage raise of 15% a year. He has already paid them with 1 goal and 3 assists in 7 matches, helping Olimpia to 4th place in the early part of the season.
gremiog.png

Hulkster has had the best start to the season for Gremio since joining the club. In 7 matches, he has already racked up 6 goals and 3 assists. He has also just joined Brazil for the friendly match against Finland. Gremio topped the Gaucho State Championship, only to lost in the Open Stage Finals to Internacional just like the year before. But they were able to beat Progresso 4-0 in the 1st leg in the 1st round of the Brazilian Cup.
chivas.png

Seeing his teammate Bottomtoucher Jr move to Tolima on loan, Valderrama has been busy helping his team break the record for the biggest home win in Chivas history against Deportivo Tachira. Scoring 2 goals in as many minutes and setting up a 3rd to pick up the Man of the Match award. In the Mexican Clausura League, Chivas have had a rough patch by winning 4 matches, drawing 1 and losing the other 4. Placing them in 7th place, 1 point away from dropping out of the playoffs spot.
cruzeirof.png

Matthew Cameron came back from his 5 month injury with 2 goals in 2 matches. Cruzeiro have also gone unbeaten until they lost against Atletico Mineiro in the Minas State Championship.
universidad.png

Universidad de Chile's decision to send Raul to Botafogo for a year turned out to be the right one since the start of the new season. Since coming back, he has already chipped in for the team with 6 goals and 2 assists in 8 appearances. Placed 2nd in the Chilean league, Universidad de Chile will battling 2 fronts as they made it through to the Copa Libertadores Group Stage, which they lost their first match against Once Caldas.
maccabihaifa.png

Messy Hallow hasn't had many starts for Maccabi Haifa. Only 5 starts and 15 other subs. Overall, he has scored 9 goals for his club in the Israeli domestic league. He has also been given the chance to keep in shape with the youth squad where he has made 5 appearances, scoring 6 goals, assisting 2 others and getting rewarded 1 MotM.
marseille.png

Moving to Europe, Martin Batistuta has been very consistent for Marseille. Since the winter break, Batistuta has scored 3 more goals for his club and is now 3 goals away from getting his 15 goals landmark bonus. They were also kicked out of the Europa Cup by losing 3-2 on aggregate against Shakhtar Donetsk.
metalist.png

Metalist's Juan Pablo Miguel has been given lots of chances this year making already 33 game appearances, scoring only 1 goal and collecting 3 assists. He has been busy traveling between Europe and South America this year and many people are just surprised at his level of commitment to both club and country.

OTHER News:
- No World Cup South American qualification this past 2 months, while most South American national squads will be traveling the following week for friendlies.
- Ignacio Ballena is still injured for Young Boys and will be making his return between 3 to 7 weeks from today.

I'm committed to Olympia, but I want some ******* silverware!

I'm ambitious, and I just want to do well!

One thing you can conclude on this update, is that the Israeliens don't have a clue on what they are doing. Bring them the finest star, and they end up in a dark cellar.

Napoli?! Fantastic! Really excited for the next update :)

Nice lil loan move for Bottomtoucher! lets get some games under our belt!!!

Good Return From Injury... Hopefully Get A Move To Premier League *Cough* Man United *Cough*

Hahaha Joe, good one. By the way guys, no update today. Will hopefully get a few up tomorrow.

MARCH & APRIL Updates:
tolima.png

Reginald Bottomtoucher Jr has been a revolution to Tolima since joining them on loan. He has only made 11 appearances out of a possible 13 games played in the season. Even though he has only scored 2 and assisted 3 other goals, he has helped Tolima move up to become joint top with America de Cali and Once Caldas with 21 points a piece. In the Colombian Cup Group Stage, Tolima is top of the Group as well with 4 wins and 2 draws without losing a game...and haven't conceded any goals.
gremiog.png

Hulkster has made more appearances this past 2 months. After 14 matches this season, Hogan has scored 8 goals and made 5 assists. Hulkster even made a substitution appearance for Brazil and was alert enough to score a goal in Brazil's 3-0 win over Finland. Gremio once again were kicked out of the Gaucho State by Internacional, this time in the Semi Finals of the Clausura stage. Gremio were also kicked out of the Brazilian cup by losing 2-0 on aggregate to Vitoria. Now Gremio and Hulkster will have 1 week to prepare themselves for the new Brazilian League season to start.
cruzeirof.png

Over at the Minas State Championship, Cruzeiro cruised to the finals after beating America (MG) 5-0 on aggregate in the Semi-Finals. They will now be facing Atletico Mineiro over a 2 leg finals over the next 7 days, split by the 1st match of the Brazilian League Season. Matthew Cameron has been doing his part for Raposa by scoring 4 goals and assisting 2 and collecting 1 MotM award in only 8 matches that he has started since the start of the year.
universidad.png

Universidad de Chile have got themselves a **** of player this year. In 11 matches played in the Chilean League, Raul has already scored 10 goals and created 3 others. It was only good enough to place them in 4th place, good enough for a playoffs spot. In Copa Libertadores, Universidad haven't had the best of runs. Winning 1 game, drawing 2 and losing the rest to crash out of the Group Stages with only 5 points. In the 8 matches played in Copa Libertadores, including the 2 Preliminary matches, Raul has found the net on 3 separate occasions.
olimpiab.png

Staying in our South American tour, we now go to Olimpia. Oswaldo Nino has played 16 matches through out the season. He has done well enough to attract attention from Brazil's Internacional. Olimpia have accepted a Loan transfer for Oswaldo that will see him finished the year in Brazil, where he will be joining the club in mid June. Nino has scored 2 and assisted 4 for club and country since the start of 2016.
chivas.png

Valderrama has been in tip top shape for Chivas in the Copa Libertadores, scoring 3 goals and assisting 3 other in just 6 appearances. Even dismanteling Corinthians during the 1st leg of the Copa Libertadores 2nd Round when he scored the tying goal and assisting the game winning goal for Chivas in front of the home fans. After making the Clausura Mexican Playoffs by losing their final two league matches, Chivas went on to lose both legs to Puma in the Quater Finals.
marseille.png

Moving on to Europe, our first stop will be at Marseille to see how Martin Batistuta has fared as of late. He has been in superb condition as of late, scoring 3 goals in the past 5 games. It took Martin 36 games to hit his 15 goal landmark bonus. Batistuta also got 5 assists under his name as well as 2 MotM performances. He has been in such a good form that his value has gone up in the past 2 months to $20,000,000. Marseille don't have a minimum release clause on his contract and it could be crucial when it comes to selling him at some point in the future...maybe sooner then later.
napolih.png

Javier Squeekles goal/game ratio may have dropped a little as of late, but his arrival to Napoli has been nothing but wonderful for the young Bolivian. This far into the season, after 13 games, he has scored 6 goals and picked up 1 yellow card on the way. Javier has also made 1 appearance for his national side where he scored 2 goals in a 4-0 win over Montserrat that saw him get ever so close to breaking Bolivia's National Goalscoring record of 20. Already scoring 16 goals in 26 caps for Bolivia. At a tender age of 19 years old, its not far fetched that Javier will smash the record before the end of the year with 7 more matches in the South American World Cup Qualifiers.
youngboys.png

Ignacio Ballena has finally come back from injury. He hasn't made any appearances for Young Boys yet, they seem to want Ballena to take his time to get ready as the Swiss season comes to an end. He was given the chance with Uruguay's senior squad to collect his 4th cap in the friendly against Northern Ireland where he finally scored his first international goal for his country. Uruguay ended up winning the game 6-3.
maccabihaifa.png

With 2 matches left to play in the Israeli League, Maccabi Haifa is sitting 2 points away Tel-Aviv, who are perch in 1st place. Messy Hallow hasn't made many appearances since coming back from his injury.

OTHER News:
- Botafogo have been heavily linked with Raul and Valderrama as they try to sign both players to bring them to Brazil and propel them to the top of the league.
- Chivas rejected Corinthians' bid for Valderrama just a week ago. So it will be hard to see Valderrama moving to Brazil now that he has been in great form for Chivas both domestically and continental.
