On FM 2006 i always signed Darren Potter and Leon Clarke for Swfc

I personally think Glen Johnson is underated (especially dribling)
Probably cause I'm a liverpool fan

I remember on FM 2005 there was a pretty snazzy wonderkid who could be snapped up for 12.5 million.

I believe he went by the name 'Lionel Messi'.

Also other players who were FM/CM beasts then got good in real life:

Pablo Aimar, Javier Saviola, Diego Forlan, Esteban Cambiasso, Lucas, Giampaolo Pazzini, Nigel De Jong, John Heitenga, Cesc Fabregas, Diego, Aaron Lennon.

Probably plenty more as well.

Alexis Sanchez from Udinese was always top quality on fm09 (still is in the latest fm, i think) in real life now he's fulfilling his promise and getting linked to clubs like Inter and Udinese.
Giuseppe Rossi was unreal on fm09 too - banging them in in real life this season as well.

benmadrigal, the Pompey player was Rungratsamee? He was only about 15/16 but i threw him in and he scored two against United, think it was the last championship manager before it turned to FM.
