Hey FMSERBIA14, did you try tweaking Eusebios tactic into a flat 4 1 4 1 formation.

Just hoping to modify it to suit my squad and get a bit more solid defensively.

After i critisized you FMserbia I realized that Weston is a team that you can hardly succeed with and if you do - you have something out of the ordinary in your hands.

So Here's the easiest Copa america adventure I have had.

Brazil - Easy challenge - Highly fulfilling :) - Cheers mate

ps to people who followed the beginning of this thread - I have now made my peace with FMserbia (cool name) :)

1 - 2 clear cut chances :D

@White Europe let me finish the season and if I feel that it's good enough, I'll share it here if FM14SERBIA doesn't mind ;)

Darmstadt 98: Finished first season / 1. Bundesliga (predicted to be 18th)

Hey mates,
so I've finished my first season with Darmstadt 98. That's the first season in the 1. Bundesliga for these guys and they've got an average CA of 117 (worst team in the league).

Here's the result:

I did everything as it's described in the OP.
Training, OI's and so on.

In my opinion one of the most important thing is the morale of your team. If you want to have success, the team has to be happy. In pre-season I'm always setting the correct player roles (First team, backup etc) - if you do so, in mid-season the team will not be hard to handle (their morale will be better).

I already said, that I tweaked the 442 several times - I'm not able to say what exactly, because I often changed small things and set them back (there are only some small tweaks!).

You can test it if you want to do so - but keep in mind that the most important thing is the morale and everything described in the OP. Maybe you'll get many yellow cards - don't forget to substitute these players in half-time (not everyone need to be subbed, but the CDs are important).

I would be happy to get some feedback of your tests (of course the tactic need to be fully fluid to work!).
Thanks!

BTW FM14SERBIA - I hope it's okay for you to share my tweak here - all credits go to this great guy ;)

Normally I'm using the same team. But I'm always looking to switch about 1 - 3 players to keep the morale as high as possible.

Southampton

The 442 tweak makes this tactic so much more secure defensively while still creating loads of chances, there is no need to change tactic when away against the bigger boys.

When u change 1-3 players do you do it based on form or there fitness?

Actually I'm changing aprox. 3 players per match - that makes it possible to keep them their morale. An important thing is in pre-season to set the player role new (first team, backups and so on). This makes it easier to handle the morale situation.

Of course first of all I check their fitness and sometimes I'm looking for appearances.
