Overall a good warm up ready for the championship however a 2-2 draw with Grimsby and a 3-1 loss at Wolves where a little disapointing. However on we go and I'm looking forward to the Championship more updates soon! Plus who is my new mystery signing!

News just in:
Chris Hughtons Newcastle job is under review after a very poor start to the season putting him in 21st in the championship. If he goes should I apply or not???
 
The bargain of this transfer market has to go to Raymond Faifani and amazing player with great stats, heres a screenie!

Now to the results:

Ipswich 1 Coventry 1 (Smolarek)
A match that could of gone either way. However we missed to many chances!

League Cup
Ipswich 2 Swindon 1 (Andriak, Smolarek)
A comfertable win with more chances we could of scored however a win is a win and we will take it

Ipswich 3 Leicter 0 (Quinn, Smolarek, Priskin)
An amazing win where we took all our chances, what more would you want getting us higher in the table!

Ipswich 0 Crystal Palace 0
A pretty boring match which I thought they should of won. Not much to say about it!

Ipswich 1 West Brom 1 (Priskin)
A really good match which we should of won. Firstly scoring in 45+3 minutes was really good. But letting them score in the 89th minute wasn't. However taking points off the league leaders isn't bad!

League Cup 2nd Round
Ipswich 1 Blackpool 2 (Smolarek)
A really disapointing match with us taking the lead but letting it go. We where expected to win and I expected us to win against a poor squad. :(

Ipswich 2 Preston 1 (Faifani x2)
A great game from a leading bargain player bagged us the win with another game that could of gone either all credit to him!

Manger Comments: A pleasing month with us scraping into the play-off places which I am pleased about. Hopping for another good month. Currently deciding whether to apply for Newcastle job currently lying at the root of the table!

Player of the Month: Andriak a player that is impressing me in the defensive midfeild position setting up goals and getting in good tackles!

Top Goalscorer: Ebi Smolarek 4 goals

Most Assists: 3 players

Robson Lets Go of loanee!
Today Matthew Robson has anounced he's terminated the loan of Liam Rosienier. In an inteview he said. "I'm to see Liam go but the wage budget is getting out of hand and we can't afford a £10,000 chunk out of it. i wish him the best of futures."

Ipswich 1 Middlesborough 0 (Smolarek)
A brilliant win against the top team at that point gettin us so close to the automatic promotion! Is this Ipswichs time?

Ipswich 2 Nottingham Forest 1 (Fafiani, Smolarek)
A Forest side with bags of potential. I thought we might loose this one with there quick atack. However we overcame them with two good goals!

Ipswich 4 Doncaster 2 (Martin, Smolarek, Willshire, Priskin)
A game that we should of won so much easier but a win is a win this put us top of the table and a 5 match winning streak!

Ipswich 1 Sheff Utd 2 (Baestien)
A bit annoying loosing to the second place team this put us in 3rd with a game in hand!

Ipswich 1 Barnsley 2 (Balkestien)
A very disapointing loss putting us down the table. Good peformand by Balkestien but thats the only good point about the game. :L

Ipswich 1 Newcastle 1 (Smolarek)
Going in 1-0 at half time. I decided to go for 5 at the back. However this didn't pay off for me. And so it's my fault we only got the draw.

Ipswich 1 Swansea 3 (Priskin)
Probably one of the worst performances this season being out played and out classed. It was turning out to be a poor month.

Ipswich 0 Watford 1
Only 1 goal in it but if we took our chances this might of been different result.

Ipswich 3 Plymoth 2 (Fafiani x2 Willshire)
Back to winning ways with a revamped tactic! Hopefully one of many good results coming up!

A very poor month for us. But after a revamped tactic hoping for some better months. Hopefully we can play-offs but it's a long way away so we'll keep going alogn!

A good month from Smolarek but the cheap signing has been imense for me scoring and setting up look like money well spent!

A very poor match putting me into big trouble! Is the Matthew Robson era going to end?

Ipswich 1 Reading 1 (Wilshere)
This result put even more pressure on me. This really could be the last of Matthew Robson era. This was the time to change tactics!

Ipswich 2 Shef Wed (Andranik, Priskin)
With the new tactic in place it went really well! Hopefully this is when it turns around and we will be pushing for play-offs!

Ipswich 2 Cardiff 0 (Smolarek x2)
A great performances from the lads putting my job a bit more secure. Further more beating Cardiff who where 5th in league was paticulary pleasing getting us into the play-offs!

Manager Comments: Good to be back on winning ways after a shaky month and a half. I was scared I was gonna loose my job but hopefully those days are over!

Sorry I'm having to stop this thread. I have just been sacked because I was coming 12th I didn't think it was bad judging how the board wanted a top half finish and I was in touching distance with the play offs. But hay-ho I might do another one like this following a career of a legend. Sorry for the inconveneince
