I got the beta, I knew there would be bugs, but I don't care, I just wanted to see the game and check out players and new features.

it did last year so i don't see why it would be any different this year. although i think you're limited to a ssmall db.

Because some people don't want to pre-order the game. Also, it's usually until January 1st.

how long does beta take to download of steam and will it turn to full game on release date

Took me 5 minutes to complete the update and yes, the game will be updated on release aslong as you are online with steam

Update - some of the SI team have gone home to see if we can upload the demo to Steam from there. Fingers crossed.

If you were replying to what i said about teh demo then yeah you will have to buy the game and get your code and download it but teh saves you had on the demo can then be continued on to the full game.
