man u a nothing team? what you smoking?

man utd were on a downward slope until fergie came along - they wouldnt be as successful as they are now, if he hadnt took the job. Fergie has the ability to sell really big players (beckham, ronaldo etc) and still deliver the goods, with all the trophies

I'm sorry... but Pepe Guardiola?!?!?

He's been a manager for one year!!!!

And Guus Hiddink has had as much disaster as success

Pepe Guardiola and Hiddink had miles more talent than Benitez.

There's not a shadow of a doubt: José Mourinho. Love Arsène and support him to the (bitter? nah) end and have bounds of respect for Sir Alex' achievements (and just those), but Mourinho is well and truly the "special one".

Personally, nobody takes a look at managers who have had success with lower league cubs e.g. Darren Ferguson. If he can guide Peterborough to the top flight I reckon he should be right up there with the best. It's a lot harder now to bring a club up from the bottom leagues with the last notable teams being Wigan and Hull. But both of these teams had good financial backing, the Posh haven't much money to splash but Fergie Jr has done brilliantly. I'm not saying he is the best now but in a couple of years. For best at the moment I can't look much further than Fergie Sr.

i dont no y ppl say Sir Alex Ferguson he is only good coz man u have lyk endless amounts of money i bet if he was at a team with no money he will do **** rafa has done great thing at liverpool with not alot of money so my vote is rafa

Im a liverpool fan but you cant argue with sir alex, he has proven himself with east stirlingshire, st mirren, aberdeen, scotland and Man united. Look at his record with aberdeen WITHOUT all the money he has at man u.

Aberdeen (1978–1986)

The people who voted for Pep Guardiola know nothing about football.

Pep came in to manage a team full of skillfull individuals and well matured players.

SAF had to literally rebuild a squad and look at the players to come out of the youth academy of Manchester United, as a team under Ferguson, they are simply magnificent.

Tbh if you voted for pep guardiola ur foolish its obviously sir alex no contest and im die hard liverpool, but credit where credit is due

anyone who can fix McClaren's mess gets it for me :) Capello all the way.

Sir Alex Ferguson.
How can it not be?

I agree. all Pep did was inherit the winning side Rijkaard built, and carried it on. He's a good coach, but still has a lot to prove to become a great manager.

Ferguson got my vote, as much as it pains me.

in my FM game 2012 and Alex Ferguson was sacked and he retired.. reached nothing in 3 FM years and replaced by Michael Laudrup after the 3rd season

Eventhough i'm dortmund fan and not bayern i would say: Louis van Gaal
hes a great one now and was also before bayern :)
