Fountain of Youth Discovered on Guernsey

​This season we are going for the title, We cam within one game last year. I set myself the aim of at least one place higher each year so that means title challenge. We also made the semi's of the champions league last year, Making the final would be nice. League cup I don't care unless we go on a run and FA cup all depends what it clashes with.

With all this said the friendlies went well. Winning all games even against a full strength Barcelona!

The big one at this stage is the champions league draw. We went straight in at the group stages this time.

Bayern are a strong outfit, The other 2 shouldprove no problem at all.

Onto the premier league. How would we start? With championship form only losing one of the 10 games to fellow title challengers Man City. This included an opening day victory over the other half of Manchester.

How would that loss effect our league standing? Not at all we are first and i plan to stay there!

We are looking to keep our form running and build up a lead at the top of the table, So losing 3-0 to Watford isn't really the way to go! 1-0 to Chelsea was a hard fought game and we fell just short. I can't complain about 0-0 with Arsenal they are a ****** good team in my game.

Regardless of a few blips we are opening up a small lead now. We just need to guard against bad form now.

With hopes of making the final of the champions league we needed to make a few statements of intent to our rivals.

This did no harm

This however was alot more like what i had in mind!

Onto the biggest team in the group. We did well to make this look as respectable as it does. We got battered! I need to work on a few things before the return game.

This left us second in our group. We may not win the group but we will sure as **** go through.

30 games in and another blip, Losing to Swansea. However 9 wins surley is enough to keep us up there.

Of course it is! We have opened up a substantial gap now. A game in hand and 13 points ahead! My new tactic has finally after over 20 seasons sorted out my suspect defence and we are flying.

I'm not sure if anyone even cares about the league cup now so this is what happened and swiftly moving on.

Back to more important matters like the champions league!

I said we needed to make a statment of our intent, No better way of doing that than spanking Bayern in there own stadium.

CSKA showed again why they are no match for us.

Dinamo suddenly decided they knew how to play a bit as well!

So second isn't bad and gets us into the next round.

Had to register after reading this. Bought Fm 2013 through steam recently after not having played since CM4, am currently in 2020 with MUFC. Looked at the website to see if anything caught my eye- and there is a thread about my beloved isle of Guernsey! Grew up there, went to school in Footes Lane! Haven't been back for over a decade but thanks for the nostalgia, would try myself but it's taken me 2 months to get to 2020 so i might have to leave this very tempting challenge until i can afford a new pc. That is exactly what i intend to do. I'll give that thread a read though.

I allow roaming and tackling is hard! It gets alot of cards but we also get the ball.... My strikers/amc are also set to swap positions.

Knockout stages of the champions league could provide immortality or humiliation

A solid workman like performance against Real Madrid gives us a nice lead to take to Madrid where a small lose did nothing to change the result.

The quarter final pitted us against former champions Porto.

We again proved our credentials by Beating them twice, It was a lot more comfortable than the scores would indicate.

For our efforts we ended up Chelsea again! quite frankly i'm sick of the site of them! A solid 2-0 win and a frantic defensive display ensured we saw them off.

This years youth intake was nothing special with maybe one player i can use.

This Sengalese left back will need to learn to be a wingback first and formost. After that might one day displace Will Coombes. My coaches areall raging about him saying he has the ability to be a premier league star. Also has English as his second nationality but is already declared for Senegal.

For all our European success we still love the FA Cup and it remains very much on our radar.

Another FA Cup final one i fully intend to win. Opposing us would be Liverpool who really should be doing better than they are this season. They would be looking to get something from the season.

What they want however doesn't matter! We wanted it more and took it!

I'm in 2036 but these updates are from 2034. Pictures are working for me maybe photobucket is just having a moment? I've been meaning to have another look at yours but my internet had been playing **** all day!
