FourTwoFour - Plug and Play EPL WITH Palace 1st season no transfers

harry with the scotia one, sub players on an early booking and save remaining subs for 6.5 or below ratings after 60 mins and injuries. if its defeders getting sent off then its down to beng outpaced so drop the defence back. be reactive dude. I have done a season there have over 60 bookings only one red. Due to subbing. Injured about 89 players by last count of the opposition :)

The scotia tactic is great, well done troops. Joint effort on fixing the set pieces and thanks to henry for making me reassess roles an instructions.

It's kinda funny at times. For an example I subbed to players off after 60 min due to yellow cards. These two players often get red cards, therefore I had in my mind that it would be smart to get them off the pitch. But what happen? Two other players get sent off instead, and my opponent gets back in to the game ;)

Was struggling to find a working tactic since the patch. Would love to give the scotia tactic a try. Is the set pieces problem fixed?

Or alternatively do what I do, though its time consuming. When booked tweak the player instruction so to take off tackler harder

Yep, losing the occasional goal to a DFK or IFK. Corners and throw in's sorted though attacking and defensively thanks to calamity and bozewolf.

Alright thx. I'll give it a try. Tried many tactic (popular in this forum) since the patch. They are all great tactic, winning alot alot of games at home but away games is the problem. I'll update you with my progress.

I would suggest people to do like this in training. It helps the players getting better with their role as well as perform better. Have it on light to make sure it not screw up the team training :)

Yeah, that's common sense. No point square holes for round pegs. :) Good point in mentioning it though. Roles are important.

A lot of noobs playing this game. A friend of mine played the game for 4 months, before I told him what teams instructions are XD

You know henry that has got me thinking. Releasing plug and play tactics is pointless without explaining how they work. If I have time i'll perhaps draw up a list of what to do exactly to get optimum results, from training, to teamtalks, subs, morale management, player rotation and acquisition. Tried to include some in the opening post but by my own admission it is lacking in detail. Apologies folks as I see the failings in giving a tool to use without explaining how to use it. 33 and been playing this and CM since I was 15. **** I feel old. I also now realise why I am single.

Chrissy, as mentioned from other people's comment... the red card rate is pretty high. Is thr a solution to tackle this problem? I'm not sure if this help in FM15 but in previous version of FM, what i do is whenever my player got red card... i issue them a warning on first offence. If second offence (fine 1 week wages).. and so on... That kinda helps me in the past but i'm not so sure about that now.

Of course to get success in this game, you'll need to good with teamtalks etc. A tactic won't work with players having a low morale etc or being out of fitness. It's important to rotate, so you don't start a game with players having 85 % condition for an example. You won't have success without having a good management.

It's a result of the tactic. If you are not reactive you'll get player's sent off. Amend the player instructions to take off tackle hard and/or sub the player if the booking is early in the first half or the player has committed constant fouls. early always the ball winning midfielder or centrehalf for me that gets the red.

As I was typing this the ball winning midfielder in my save got sent off :)

Do you think it would minimise the problem if you remove hard tackle from PI and instead add them in the OI tackling hard?

If a player get's sent off take off an F9. It just worked for me there. Was 1-0 down with en men, won the game 3-1

Yes, but again, you'd lose some efficiency in winning the ball back. Better to take the instruction off if coming up against a strict referee or a player gets booked :) I've played a full season in the Scottish lower leagues and only 3 red's well beow the league average of 5. Top of the yellows though with 67
