Our greatest ever run in Europe where we reached the Europa League semi-finals. We were only denied a first ever final appearance by an 85th minute equaliser and subsequent penalty loss.

At home the league rose again and we had another clean sweep.

The national team is starting to do better too. They got 5 points (1 win, 2 draws) in the last World Cup qualifiers and 6 points (1 win, 3 draws) in the last Euro qualifiers.

Going to have to wait for the national team manager to retire it seems. He's 56 so still at least 4 years to wait.

When was the last time you lost a league match? Seems like a couple seasons undefeated in Andorra.

Lost 4 seasons ago (when I holidayed the last few games).

Before that it was back in 2017
 
Have any of the other Andorran teams managed to attain professional status?

Domestically we are totally and utterly dominant. No-one can touch us so I might start to blood some young Andorran players. There are no foreigner rules in the league but I might set myself some and play a certain amount of Andorra players per game.

In Europe we returned to the Champions League proper after reaching the semi final of the Europa League the year before. We failed to get out of a tough group but the money brought in has allowed us to improve the training and youth facilities (due to be completed in October).

And each year in the CL will boost our coefficient bringing us closer to the ultimate aim of having an automatic group stage spot.

Not the season in Europe I hoped for.

A tough group, yes. But I felt a 3rd place finish was possible but we just couldn't find a spark in most games.

I've been keeping most of our money for stadium and training improvements. With W4NKER Arena now built and the training facilities at a 'Superb' level perhaps now is the time to start spending some money on the very best available players and really compete in Europe.
 
Look at the prize money now for winning the Cup.

This rises in relation to the league ranking. The same happens with any league prize money. Sadly the creator of the database didn't set any league prize money so we get nothing.

I've been tempted to add it in the editor and start again as I would be getting about ?7,000,000 for each league win and the lesser clubs would be getting other prize money for finishing in certain places thus helping them improve their own clubs.

I may restart this with the prize money added or start a new one altogether in San Marino or Gibraltar.

Thoughts?
 
Thats alot of work to scrap and start again!

Having said that, its been such a good read that id happily read from the off again!
 
Seems to be going quicker then last year and its up to you but I think san Marino would be a harder challenge as the league is longer and even the San marinoise players don't want to play in that league
