Same here, just going to quote myself from the other thread:
First it said that the save couldn't be loaded if it was compressed, so saved it again, with the "compress" box unticked, and now it's a new error.
Does anyone have a sollution?

Go to the 'official' forum and see if they have a thread for errors/bugs.
If they don't have a solution, merely reporting it will be useful.
i cant even load it up! wont load past the language data
Give it a couple of minutes and it'll be fine.

Is anyone else having a problem with the downloader - Filesonic? It won't allow me to download the file as it says "Error Free users may not download more than 1 file at a time" But i'm only downloading 1... is there any other website you can download Genie Scout from? Thanks
On first try it froze and closed at that point.i cant even load it up! wont load past the language data
I've opened and shut it several times since and it's been fine.

Yes I get the exact same message. Please let me no if u find somewhere else to dwnload it.
There may be a reason it's only one download location, but meh.
