After watching the 'El Classico' last night im dumbstruck wondering why did Manchester United let Gerard Pique go as he is better then any of Manchester United's current center backs.
He was brilliant last night and brilliant against United in The Champions League Final.
Fergie doesn't make many mistakes but letting Pique go was definitely one of them.
 
He looked a good player at Man Utd. I'm sure Fergie knew but I think he let him go because Pique wanted to.
 
i think pique prefers the spanish league than the english league
 
As a Man Utd fan I followed Piques progress and was upset when Fergie allowed him to leave.
 
i was heartbroken when pique left..i thought he had the potential to be better then ferdinand..but i think pique wanted to go back to spain
 
Hes quality he would walk straight into the United side
 
Big loss to United, proved that in CL final last season, will never leave Barca now though, future captain me thinks
 
Yeah Pique is class, but not better than Vidic when he's at his best in my opinion.
 
i think his technique better then vidic..vidic more of an old fashioned def good in the air, route one defending and no fuss..wouldn't mind them both being a central def now, whilst rio regains fitness
 
Yh But Pique is quality against big players like Ronaldo , Kaka and Benzema last night but Vidic has been given the run around three games in a row aganst Liverpool playing against the likes if Torres and Gerrard and has been sent off in all three.
 
i wish we never let pique go, evans and pique would of been the top partnership in the world, in 3-4 years time.

he just had three bad games, he kept good players, like drogba, messi, ibra, ady, RVP, benzema, eto. all quite in the pst couple of seasons.

YH but them games would be more important to Man U fans because its bragging rights between Liverpool and Man U and he got destroyed all 3
 
i dno, i think champs league semis, and final meant more to me, then a few games against liverpool
