Germany have been drawn in Group H of the 2010 world cup which includes the Ivory Coast, Serbia and Japan getting wins in this group wont be easy and the media are calling the Group of Death every tournament has one and unfortunatly Germany have been drawn into it the German manager has been quoted as saying "No world cup game is easy as all the teams have worked hard over 2 years to get here but i suppose this was the group no one wanted to be in as Serbia are a great team with great players and Japan are the kings of Asian Football and the Ivory Coat have one of the best forwars in the world in Didier Drogba so it will be difficult but i believe if we play to our best we can beat anyone".

Torsten Frings retires from International Football
Although not a part of manager Lothar Matthäus plans for the world cup its still news as he would have been a good backup for the young players. Torsten retires after scoring 10 times in 79 caps the goal he is most rembered for is that screamer in the 4-0 opening day win in the 2006 world cup holded in germany which you can see below on our media player

Euro 2012 Draw Made
Germany have been drawn in group A of the Euro 2012 qualifiers groups which for Germany should be a relitvly easy group they only chalenge for the Germans lie at Euro 2008 suprise package Turkey and the Co-hosts of Euro 2000 Belgium the other teams in the group are neighbours Austria who co-hosted the last Euro's in 2008 alongside the minnows of Kasakstan and Azerbajan who were also in Germanys World Cup qualifing group

Last Minute Higuain Goal Stuns Germany
Germany manager Lothar Matthäus suffers first defeat as Germany manager as Argetina beat Germany 3-2 the germans ending the first half 2-0 down thanks a perotti and Maxi Rodreguez strikes Germany did well to come back into the game and on the 75th minute the goal machine Miroslav Klose scored his 50th Goal for germany Medzelder then got the equaliser in the 78th with a fine header.
But it wasn't to be as Real Madrid Hitman Gonzalo Higuain above scored the winner to confirm the Germans to Deafeat

Trochowski celebrates scoring his 3rd goal
Germany warmed up for the world cup with a fine 6-0 in truth it was a poor opostion in Malta but its good to get match practise. The other scorers were Miroslav Klose and there were special landmarks for Thomas Muller and Toni Kroos scoring there first goal for their country Kroos's was even on his debut which made the day even more special for him.
