Disappointed to loose at this stage, devastated how the game went after Germany went down to 10 men. No way we should have let in 3 goals even to a team as good as this. I expect this will cost me the Italian job but has anyone else really struggled to get there tactic familiarity better. Ours has been rock bottom after several games in the same formation with very similar line ups. No ability to do training seems to exist

Targets
Serie A - Title Challenge
Italian Cup - Solid Cup run
Champions League - Last 16

Domestically Juventus spent over £70m on players so expect them to be stronger than last year so just making a title challenge will be enough for me. A Cup run would be nice but not essential for us or the board. A strong showing in Europe is big for us. A club with such history in the biggest competition we must return with a bang.

We stepped away from our young talent for the future moto by spending £30m on one player but he should be one f the top defenders for the next 10 years.

Jorge DL

The man to try and replicate the wonders of Paulo Maldini. Already at a level of a top Serie A defender my time in a previous save tells me he'll be a long term hero at the club.

John Stones DC

The future of Englands defense. The man all the big clubs is chasing in the real world will form a wall with Romagnoli for the next decade.

Jonathan Calleri AT

A future gem of a striker brought in to fill the hole left by Super Mario Balotelli who returns to Liverpool from his loan. Calleri will be fighting Bacca for the starting spot

Jamie Vardy AT
View attachment 158961
Leicester's relegation has led to Jamie Vardy bringing his party to the San Siro. Will be tough to see him get past Bacca & Calleri but with no solid u18 prospect he'll get plenty game time.

Out
Almost all of these players made non or little impact for me last season. The El Shaarawy deal was done before i joined which is a shame but £10m in the bank. Zapata was the 4th choice defender and a player we can afford to loose.
Other players leaving on a free were Riccardo Montolivo to Lyon, Gabriel Paletta to Sociedad and most importantly Fernando Torres to Benfica taking his £175k a week wages.

Serie A Transfers
View attachment 158954
John Stones is the biggest transfer of Stones from the Premiership is equalled by Man City buying Roma's winger Florenzi. Juventus were thinking of the future too buying Rafinha from Barcelona but lost Alvaro Morata to Real Madrid. 4 other big signing for Juventus were Nicola Sansone, Malcom, Jordan Amavi & Silvan Widmer. Roma with Mohamed Salah & Edin Dzeko and Napoli with Martin Odengaard, who chose them over us.

AC Milan Squad 2016

All the changes to the squad were along the back line which is now aged 23,22,21 & 20. No forced changes in the next 10 years there. The rest of the signings have to fight for there places.

Some great buys there! Expect to see plenty of assists from that Jorge bloke you got in.

Central defense sorted for many years now and will only improve!

As long as and Jorge doesnt get itchy feet and Barcelona & Real Madrid's bids for Scigilo keep getting rejected then were set till 2026, Unless we get a super talented youth CB that will take over from Stones

Despite loosing there games against us the title is far from over. There amazing start to the season keeping them in the hunt. Finishing 2nd in the end doesnt turn out to be a disaster for any of the Italian teams. Roma got the worst end of the stick drawing Chelsea while Juventus lucked in to get Galatasaray, who finished ahead of Man Utd and comfortably put PSG into the Europa League. We got Leverkusen. far from the worst draw but far from easy. This will be a tough fight over the two legs. If the board feel like giving us £42m or so in the transfer window i might nab Brandt off them to make my life a bit easier

A Brilliant match with a very sad ending for Milan. We took the lead with one of the most spectacular goals of the season Jonathan Calleri with a stunning overhead kick made from his fellow summer signing from South America Jorge. Ronaldo unsurprisingly pulled Madrid level just after the break and Kaylor Navas held of a full scale assault from our strike force and take the game to extra time just like 1958 except this time Madrid needed penaltys to win there 11th Champions League. I Should have thought better of having two English players taking pens, Bale missed one for Real meaning British based players went 0/3.

Like Alex Ferguson with Liverpool's league title history My youthful squad led by Romagnoli, De Sciglio & Donnarumma will try to catch and overtake Real Madrid at the most successful side in Europe, Current Score Real Madrid 11-7 AC Milan

End Of Season 2016/17 Review

Very close to a perfect season. The fact that if we had made a few decisions the other way we could have beaten Udinese & Bolognia and had a perfect season. Wrong balance of youngsters to top team pro's and being a little bit short of talent. Were not quite in the ideal position of having 2 players for every position and a 25 man deep squad yet
Amazingly despite 34 wins from 38 games we only won the title from Juventus by 10 points and with Inter under David Moyes progressing the right way too things could be bright for these 3 teams. Roma & Napoli have gone the other way and are out of Europe altogther next season.
The final cull of Managers in Serie A seen Napoli ditch Vinchenzo Montella and Fiorentina doing the same to Paulo Sosa.

A sad day too at AC Milan. Old time keeper Christian Abbiati hangs up his gloves after almost 20 years at the San Siro. Always been a back up for me but his longativity at the club is a insperation to my attempt at a story and with that he's going to get a job with the U18s
View attachment 156607

The other big league winners were Atletico Madrid, Bayern & Chelsea still managed by Jose!
And across Europe Man City & Liverpool swap Jurgen Klopp for Antonio Conte. Liverpool will be very happy with Klopp & £7m in there pockets

AC Milan 2016/7
View attachment 156608
How good will this left wing be if they can both stay fit more next season. Bonaventura & Jorge next season will lead us. Sisto added goals to his game and with Bacca out almost all season Calleri's 26 goals cemented his spot as starter next season. Defense only let in 16 goals in the league a sign of that unit starting its legacy.
