Squad
As I mentioned before, I bought only one player at the beginning of the season (
Keisuke Honda). In the winter break, I made a terrible mistake. I wanted to buy at least one player (
Falcao,
Thiago or
Isco), but I needed money. So I ended the contracts of
van Buyten (DC backup) and
Pizarro (ST backup). That gave me enough money for making transfers with paying over 48 months. But
Falcao got more and more expensive as I managed to buy him and Barcelona first wanted to sell
Thiago but decided short before an agreement to keep him. So I set two players free, but didn't buy any other players.

Nothing much to say here.
Neuer clear first choice, in my opinion the best there is (even in real life).
Starke is a decent backup.

My starters were
Badstuber and
Boateng.
Especially Badstuber is a very good player.
Boateng should better be a backup, but he is very important, because he can naturally play also on WBR and WBL.
Dante was a backup, not so bad either. But not good enough for first eleven.

Lahm. What do I have to say? Great player, too. When
Alaba was injured or needed a break, I switched him to WBL, where he cut inside.
Rafinha is a good backup I think.

Martinez is in my opinion a very good defensive midfielder, naturally he can also play as DC or as MC. I think he is very good, because he knows how to defend, but is also good in passing and playing football.
Gustavo was backup, more of a real destroyer.

Uhhh, now it's getting interesting
Schweinsteiger and
Kroos. Very, very good players. I used them most of the time als starters. The new player
Honda was a good transfer too. Good at freekicks, good technique and passing. I like him.
Can is a young player, not bad, but to be honest: I think he is not good enough for Bayern. Didn't play really much.

Okay, so here we go:
Müller is in my opinion the best player I had in this position. He scores a lot and is always there where you want him to be. The other players were kind of disappointing (on this level of course): I can't compare, because I haven't used other players in this tactic, but
Robben and
Shaqiri didn't satisfy me at all. Both have the PPM longshots and are selfish players. I don't know how often I had games with 30 shots and 25 of them were longshots. Most of the time
Ribery was a starter, but he didn't satisfy me either.

Gomez was my best striker in this season and scored good. He is not really a good playing striker, more of a real pocher. He knows where to stay when he wants to score a goal.
Mandzukic was most of the time my backup, but didn't play very much, because when I took
Gomez off, most of the time a made
Müller to my striker.

Results
Ok, these are my results. To be honest, it was a very good first season. My team gel level was in december on the highest possible level. So I started then with attacking movement as match preparation. But I was nowhere near to your results. Sometimes I had a high scoring game, but often it was kind of disappointing.

Bundesliga
I won the Bundesliga very clear. I think it is so important to start very good in the league, what I did. But
Dortmund didn't play a good season, so this league was very easy this year.

DFB-Pokal
Won the national cup, too. Final game was disappointing, because
Hoffenheim was relegated one week before and we were 1:0 down till minute 120.

Champions League
This was very hard. I had an easy group and I won every game. Then I had to play against
Celtic Glasgow. This was tough, but I went through. Then against
PSG, very hard too. But we managed to go to the next round. Against
Barcelona we had no chance (like this season in real life
). So: group stage was no problem at all. A bit disappointing against
Celtic and
PSG. Against
Barcelona in semi final you can lose, I think.

Conclusion
I do like the tactic. I am so tired of counter attacking tactics, like Mr Langvatns. Don't understand me wrong, they are great tactics. The best there are for every team (under-, midtable), but it gets boring after time. So I like the fact that it is possession based, very offensive. I love when my DCs are in the opposition half and keep the pressure high. I like it really.
But I think my team is not optimal, yet. I concede in my opinion too much and score to less. So I am about to change some players. I am a fan of having a backup for every position. So there should be 22 players in my first team. For this I need a new player in DC. For now I am not sure if I will buy a starter or a young backup. If there is money enough, I will buy a good player who can take
Boatengs position. But this is not my first priority. I am going to change my attacking midfield.
Ribery,
Robben and
Shaqiri have to leave the club, if there are any good offers. This should give me enough budget to buy players, who are maybe not that selfish and are more real AMCs. Also I need to buy a new striker. Like the DC position, I wait till the AMC spots are filled and decide then if I buy a starter or a backup.
So my goal next season is to score more goals and maybe to concede less. Priority is really on scoring more goals than conceding less.
