Good Central Midfielder for £3-4 million?

I've started a new season with Birmingham city and have found that the only decent central midfielder that we have is Barry Ferguson.
I am in desperate search to find a decent central partner for him. I signed Sunny for £1,000,000 but he got injured on his debut so can't make a decision.

Arturo Vidal or Adrian. I got Vidal for 3mil in my game because Leverkusen didn't want him anymore.
 
Yohan Cabaye from Lille? I picked hm up for $4 mil before and he's worth every penny. If not, see if you can get Kevin. You can pick him up for as little as 2.5mil.
 
tom ciarney can usually be got for around 2mill off hull
he is still a teenager but can be in the startin team right away

Mate Simao(Panathanaikos). His value is 2m ish, but you can sign for 900k.
 
ninis on loan from olympiakos i think it is.
he was fantastic for me first season.
 
Lucas from sao paulo, release clause of 3.6 mil. Might have to adapt though.
