well i am from greece and dont know which english clubs apart from the obvious Liverpool,Man U,Arsenal,Leeds,Nottm Forest have a history which can be proud of.And worth-mentioning history is not only about winning cups etc.you can also be proud about playing great and entertaining football like Ajax did on 70's and Nottm Forest did on 80's....

If you read a lot of the threads on here you will see that everyone recognise the great history Chelsea FC have...;)

hahaa yeap....here on greece we are mocking fans of chelsea all the time for their pour history

Southampton, Blackburn (One Season against all odds they won the league), Derby.

Scottish Clubs... nothing much happens nowadays, the last chance was Rangers in the Uefa cup in 2008, but here's a bit of history

- Rangers hold the record for the most honoured club ever, winning more things than any other team in the world.
- Celtic won the European Cup in 1967
- Aberdeen won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 1983, beating Real Madrid 2-1.

Celtics Lisbon Lions of '67 The 1st British team to win a European Cup, the squad also only consisting of players that where all born within a 30 miles radius of Glasgow ;) We also had to stop Inter who where aiming to win there 3rd in secession. We also did it playing like "like the Dutch speeded-up."

but rangers are in a non-competitive league mate...if rangers were at the EPL the will strugllibg for a ticket to europe if not worse...

Aston Villa:

League titles: 7
FA Cup - 7
League Cup - 5
European Cup (old champions league) - 1
European Super Cup - 1

Blackpool were good in forties and fifties "the Golden years" as it was called. Aberdeen were dominate between 1979-1985. Grande Inter in the sixties led by Helenio Herrera. F.C. Pro Vercelli had great success early just found out about this team from people from this site. Feyenoord Rotterdam were good in the sixties not won league title since 1999. Not many in Spain though. FC Dynamo Kyiv always been good in past won the Ukrainian Premier League 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001. Dont know many teams won so many back to back league titles.
