Club Statement.
The have announced that 5 players have been released after their contracts expired, The players are Damien Johnson, Durrell Berry, Robbie Williams, Ladji Soukouna and Warren Feeney. The club wish the players success in the future. Also leaving the club are Physio Paul Atkinson, who will be replaced by Steve Whitehall and Scout John Deehan, who is replaced by Alan McLeary.
Plymouth Argyle today have announced the signing of Bournemouth goalkeeper Shwan Jalal for an undisclosed fee. Jalal(below) has joined the newly promoted League 1 side on a 3 year deal.
Plymouth manager Andy Samuels told the club's official website "I'm delighted to have secured the signing of Shwan, I felt that we needed another keeper in, as Romain Larrieu is focusing more on coaching and although Jake Cole was superb last season, I felt the need to add extra competition for the number 1 jersey and Shwan definately gives me that."

Samuels Pens New Deal.
Plymouth Argyle have today announced that their manager Andy Samuels has signed a new 2 year contract. The contract will run until the end of the 2014 season. The Plymouth board are delighted to have secured Samuels to a longer contract.
Argyle Trio Sign.
Promising trio Matt Lecointe, Luke Young and Curtis Nelson have all agreed new long term contracts with the club. Forward Lecointe has signed till 2015, Midfielder Young has signed till 2015 and Defender Nelson has extended his deal till 2017. All three players are seen as the present and future spine of the team and manager Andy Samuels was keen to tie them down for the next few years.
Sky Sports can confirm that NPower League 1 side Plymouth Argyle have made a double loan signing today. Re-joining the club is Defender Gavin Hoyte, who enjoyed a successful spell last season. Also, through the door at Home Park is big, powerful Forward Mathieu Manset. Manset(below) has found it difficult for first team action at Reading and will be hoping for more regular football down south.
The club announced both signings on their official website this evening. "I very happy bringing Gavin back to the club, as we are very short in the right back area, and he played his part in promotion last year. Mathieu has found it tough at Reading since his move from Hereford, and I'm hoping he can find that form that made him such a threat to opposing defenders. I also feel he will work well alongside young Lecointe." commented the Argyle manager Andy Samuels.
