Shields Gazette: Hi Meen, firstly congratulations are in order for your purchase of Newcastle United F.C. We'd just like to know what made you want to buy this club?

Meen: Well, I've grown up here and as a young lad, I always dreamed of being a pivotal part of Newcastle United. My family and myself have been huge fans and have loved growing up to seeing the one and only Alan Shearer's one hand raised celebration, the silky skills of Nolberto Solano and the lethal left of Laurent Robert . I guess what I'm saying is that it seems like we've lost that connection between the fans and the club. The previous owner Mike Ashley has made some controversial decisions to say the least and I'm here to lead this club to glory.

Shields Gazette:As with all takeovers, there is always the possibility of management and staff upheaval. Is this something you plan on doing?

Meen: I think it would be foolish of me to not give Alan Pardew a chance. He took the club to a top five finish 2 seasons ago and I believe we can do that again. Also, the playing staff will largely remain and there may only be one or two players whom I will be wanting to sell but apart from that, everyone else is intended to stay.

Shields Gazette:
Thank you very much for this interview and we'd like to wish you the very best.

Meen: Thanks, I best get cracking. Hopefully we will instil the pride into the Toon once more.

MAN WITH NEW VISION TAKES OVER LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB

View attachment 397035

There is a new man in Liverpool Football Club as owner Fenway Sports Group sell the club for a reported 800 Million to an unknown buyer, rumoured to be the owner of an engineering company based in London.

BBC Sport and Sky Sports News were lucky enough to get a quick interview with the new owner.

BBC Sport Press Agent: "So, first of all, I am sure all of us would like to know, what is your name?"

...: "Haha I thought that would be one of your first questions, my name is Adam Moore."

Sky Sports News Press Agent: So why did you purchase Liverpool FC?

Adam Moore: "Well... I have always been a fan of football, ever since I was young, I mean personally I am a Leicester City fan but I have always liked Liverpool as well. With how things are going at Leicester I didn't want to ruin things by trying to buy them, and thought Liverpool could do with someone coming in who will actually get them to where they deserve to be, not just drifting around like they have been recently, back to being champions."

BBC Sport Press Agent: "So, what do you intend to do with Liverpool now?"

Adam Moore: "Well first of all, I want us to re-establish ourselves as one of the best in the world, we have dropped off a bit in recent years, but I intend to get us back up there."

Sky Sports News Press Agent: "So what does this mean for Brendan Rodgers?"

Adam Moore: "He will be staying with us for as long as I can see, he is a great young manager and some great ideas and has also managed to bring in some great players with the likes of Sturridge and Mignolet and I am certain he will be the man who will get us back to the top.

Anyway, sorry now ladies and gents, but I must be leaving now, as I have a lot to sort out! Thank you."

Swansea City get new chairman

Swansea have managed to get former Real Madrid chairman Lewie Roberts. He is said to be very proud of taking over the swans and also said that he will give Gary Monk a chance to shine on the managerial stage.

Transfer window is now open. It will stay open until 9pm GMT unless lots of people need more time. Try and get all your transfers in by then though so we can crack on with this.

Same here. I am not gonna purchase anyone unless there is a really good deal.

As soon as he could, Adam Moore made it his first act to recall Pepe Reina, Fabio Borini, and Oussama Assaidi.

He talked about bringing the players back here:

Adam Moore: "These 3 are very good players and I cannot see why they were loaned out in the first place. Reina will be great to bring back as I see him as being better than Mignolet, and Borini and Assaidi are brought back to provide competition for other players."
