HELP. need to register players!

I have a problem. I've picked my England squad for the upcoming EUROS and accidentally left out a key player. How can I correct this using editor? If I try to remove an existing player from the national team it says that the squad is already submitted.

I thought i could injure a player using FMRTE but it wont let me tick the box.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. The euros are in a week and i left out the captain!!
 
I don't think you can maybe i am wrong so you might have to do without but if you are england you have 2-3 more player who could be your captain

lil' roller - I'm England so I dont have a training option.

I have tried putting up the injury proneness of a couple of lesser players, but they wont seem to get injured. Also, does anyone know if you can still pick replacements after the tournament has started?
 
Nick means who is the player?
 
oh, sorry. Well I'm in the year 2021 so the player is called Bobby Duckworth.
 
ah! That will be a problem. Maybe you could ban get one of the players injured in a friendly with his club.

Why are you picking a squad for the euros a year before the tournament may I ask?
 
don't be stupid. He is in 2020. That is Euro year.
