Hobbs Backs King In Transfer Market
Doncaster have really sent out a statement of intent with their recent transfer activity. It seems Frankie Hobbs really trusts Max King by pledging 4m into the transfer fund.
It seems Max King has really got some great signings. Of course there was the signing of Smithies and Cerny, both of whom should slot straight into the starting eleven, but also the terrific coup of Lacina Traore for 800k.
Another great signing for the hoops was that of Aron Gunnarsson. He is proven at the level, and will provide to be a future captain for the Yorkshire clubs.
Harewood was brought in as an experienced campaigner, who is proven at the highest level, so he will be a key player in Donnie's push for promotion.

Let it begin;
I had brought in all the players I had wanted and Frank seemed happy with my acquisitions in the transfer market. I'd brought in a bit more youth than experience, but Cerny and Harewood are both near or on the age of 30 and have still got all the attributes to be quality players for us, and I'm confident Smithies, Traore and Gunnarsson can all slot into the line up straight away.
Now we've got all the players together and a solid squad, we can look to the first game of the season, a home game vs Swansea. I'm a little bit cautious whether we can gel straight away and get a result from the game, but I'm always up for a challenge, no matter who the opposition in front of me is.
We've already had a few blows already with the injuries to Billy Sharp and Gareth Roberts which will probably keep them out of the first game of the season, but it's nothing impossible to deal with. I'm going to have to rely on Sharp, Traore, Harewood and Heffernan all to get their fair share of goals this season, mostly because I don't see us being too solid defensively.
I've got another meeting with the players and coaching staff tomorrow morning to talk about the game against Swansea, and then, if I've got time, I'll try and see my Grandad in hospital. He hasn't been well lately, he's got amnesia and cancer, he's not coping well at all, everytime I go to visit him it takes him about 4 attempts to remember my name. It's heartbreaking seeing someone who I've known all my life, hurting so much and not knowing what he's doing or where he is.
I guess I'll just have to focus on other things like Doncaster to keep my mind off of him for now, but I can't see me dealing with this to easily..

Good luck guys, £4.3M is a bit excessive still. I have full faith in Max to gain promotion though.

Of course they are, they are currently doing exams (unsure when they finish) but when they're back I'm sure the story will be better than ever.
