Dead Space blockbuster would be INSANE! one for the books...

Poltergeist 1 (when i was a lighty)
It (the scary Clown that lived in the drain, the reason why kids in their twenties hate clowns)
Nightmare on Elm Street 3
Paranormal Activity was pretty scary (supposedly different endings depending on your country)
Amytiville Horror
13 Ghosts

I've recently watched Don't Look Now and Martin. Both brilliant films, especially Don't Look Now but Martin deserves it's plaudits simply for being about vampires and not being camp.

Why have the Americans always got to remake classic Japanese, Spanish, French films, they always end up so ****

I just watched a bit of The Shining, and would rather not be watching it home alone! :O

I've also been watching each SAW film every night of this week, and I'd definatly recommend them as I think they're brilliant, so much more to the films than the gorey parts!

My all time favourite horror films as I haven't seen many would have to be The Descent, The Ring (1+2) and Halloween. Although, Halloween was just funny..

What films would people recommend for watching with a girlfriend?

I hated The Descent, and the SAW films for that matter, the Shining's good.
As for the girlfriend bit, I'd say something jumpy, like The Haunting in Conneticut, The Amytville Horror, just not a full on gore film

Any other recommendations?
Come on,someone

Watched Cronos & The Orphanage this weekend, both very interesting. Would probably include The Orphanage in the list of my favourite Horror Films now.

I didn't think much of Daybreakers to be honest, but watched '' The human centipede:First sequence'' a while back, not an horror as such but pretty disturbing the actual idea of it, apparently there making two more sequences so hopefully there a bit better and a little more graphic.

See someones recommended Killer Clowns ha ha, that brings back memories.

"i still know what you did last summer" what a film i like horror movies so much

I saw the Shining in the middle of the night at my friend's house which is in the middle of the forest while it was snowing... Bad, bad idea.

Saw are all awful, no horror, just gore, if I wanted something like that I'd just watch Rambo. The Descent was awful too.
