How long do your seasons take?

I usually take ages to complete a season. Probably about 120+ hours. I usually never get past 4-5 seasons on any save.

I play on comprehensive highlights and attend most of the press conferences and do my own scouting and play my own reserve friendlies, so...20-25 hrs if I'm not fighting relegation (and having to tinker tactics)

120 hours?! That can't be right surely! Although it sounds like you take your time

Do you do your u19s as well to check on some of your regens? I don't bother but think I should, if they're good enough I'll rotate them in first team eg put them in cup games or on as subs but that's it

Well idk really. I had 1200 hours on FM13 and had one save going for 6 seasons, one for 3 and one that was about one and a half season. Which means a bit more then 10 seasons played in total. Which makes me think I have spent about 120 hours per season.

And yes I take my time with everything in the game. Reading opposition scouting reports, tweaking my player roles accordingly, checking my individual training every in game month, searching for players and staff. Watching every game on comprehensive and during my tactics building phase even full match.

My current game is at a bit more then 24 hours played right now and I'm just playing my 10th league game in my first season. :D

the secret is to play each match on comprehensive once a week, i have played a save like this since the early FM always have 1 season long save going

If youre bugged by slow games, the instant results skins make a world of difference

I find a spend a LOT of time during the transfer windows. LOL. I scout a lot, and I always look to upgrade my club. The rest of it is just choosing tactics and players for that particular matchup. Then sitting through the sim and watch as your dots miss shot after shot, hit woodwork, and just pray that I end up on top! LOL. I still win enough to take the titles. But sometimes I wonder if it wasn't just luck. Why does my top ranked team still struggle to pull out 2-1 wins against scrub 14th/16th ranked teams??

Wow that's impressive, you must be very successful with your saves!

Yeah but I like to feel like I have some control over results+ that I actually help make comebacks as opposed to just leaving it to "fate" lol

Is there anything to speed up the game in the settings? Read something before where it was going into preferences and changing one of the settings to just 'software', may have been GPU or something can't remember..

I started once with Shaktar in Classic Mode.It took 3 hours because I like to play with Instant Result Skin. But I'm addicted to English Premier League,it takes 6 hours with Instant Result Skin.

No, I just hire the best U19 head coach I can find and let him run things. Then every half season I check to see who are the star performers and I move them to reserves.
