How many countries and leagues do use load at start of every game? I usually load england, france, germany, italy, spanish, scotland and all the top leagues which runs fairly fast. Also do use load all players from certain countries? I don't but would it be useful too?

Portugal - Liga Sagres

Also, players from top clubs in Scandanavia.

Interesting. I play with a Large Custom DB, with far less countries loaded (see my previous post) and I have around 62000 players.
I dont really add any extra national players, unless I intend to manage a nation. Lower league games I may add Reunion
what database do you use?
Just the regular 10.3, but I tend to load additional players into the large database when creating the game, rather than make a bunch of unnecessary leagues playable.
i also load a lot because there will be more decent player to look up...
england, france, germany, netherland, italy, spain, portugal, belgium, scotland, brazil, argentina, chile, mexico, usa, korea, malaysia(coz i'm malaysian), serbia, russia, bosnia....
btw i use 'retain all player' config, which it will automatically load all player from all the nation..... so i will no need to use load from specific country.... ^^)

I've been trying to find a right balance between nations loaded and no crash dumps/fastish gameplay.
I've got a few custom DB's loaded, right now I'm trying (from off the top of my head)....
chile, colombia, paraguay, peru, uruguay, argentina, brazil, USA, Mexico, ivory coast, cameroon, egypt, ghana, nigeria, algeria, tunisia, south africa, norway, slovakia, slovenia, england, france, spain, italy, germany, portugal, holland, belgium, scotland, denmark, sweden, greece, turkey, bulgaria, romania, croatia, serbia, russia, ukraine, hungary, austria, czech republic, and Saudi Arabia.
132,000 players loaded, last try, I get through a year, somewhat slowly with 146,000 and a few more leagues, but after a year I started getting a bunch of crash dumps.
I'm afraid 132k won't work, and I'll have to start cutting more nations. My aim is to improve foreign regen quality, and quality of foreign international competition (especially Africa).

I usually end up with between 90.000 - 120.000 players loaded, and so far I haven't had any major crashes.
(Three altogether this year, but that was because I typed "a" or something in the player search and it couldn't handle the results...)
But that is mostly because of my new-found love for lower league management, and there's just so much great talent in other countries.
Leagues I always load:
England (BS, or at least league 2)
Spain (at least three tiers)
Italy (Serie C)
Portugal (1st league)
Holland(2nd league)
Germany (down to tier 3-5)
Brazil (2nd league)
Argentina(2nd league)
Mexico(2nd league)
Ukraine(1st league)
Russia(1st league)
Serbia(1st League)
Greece(1st league)
Turkey(1st league)
USA (MLS)
