Which African team will go the furthest in this 2010 world cup. And how far will they go?.

I think that Ivory Coast will be able to reach the semi final if Drogba and their other top quality players step up to the task.

Ghana will do nothing without Essien. Ivory Coast are the best African team but they'll get knocked out by Spain in the second round

Missed Cameroon out of the poll mate.

I don't reckon Ivory Coast will advance past the group stage. Probably the best African team but I think Portugal and Brazil will put them out.

I reckon they would advance cause i dont really rate portugal to highly

looking at the groups, i can see Ghana, Cameroon and Nigeria doing the best in the Group stages, since they have groups with teams they have a good chance of beating.
after that, its anyones guess.

I don't think Ivory Coast will make it past group stage. So I'm going to predict Cameroon as Essien is injured now.

Ghana is not a one man team people they reached the African cup of nations final with Essien missing most of the tounament

African Cup of Nations, sure.

World Cup? No.

Nigeria because ivory coast are in the group of death and then could end up playin spain if they get out and because the rest are pure **** :P

slightly off topic, just imagine a brazil spain 2nd round tie.

back on topic before the draw i would have said ivory coast had an outside chance of winning it but as i think they would need a better group to get up to speed before they would have a chance against the established national teams like brazil and spain i'm going to have to go for algeria or ghana.

Sven Goran Erikksson is the Ivory Coast manager.. Looks like we have a winner :D
