Which African team will do the best

definetly not Algeria. They got beaten by us 3-0 and I think had one shot
 
Although Ivory Coast have the best team I think people are forgetting that they will most likely play Spain in the 2nd round should they progress? No chance
 
if Algeria progress, it means England haven't. USA are a solid side, and always do well in the WC.
 
i'm sorry but i can see our gourp being topped by us with algeria following up in second ahead of the usa on gaol difference. i can also see serbia leading germany in their group. this would mean serbia playing algeria which i think the africans can win in extra time. that would put them in the 1/4 finals and i would say they would then face a strong uruguay side that would knock out diego maradonna's argentina side. and if that happens they would potetially be up against the winners of a tough italy spain match in the semi's. i think they would lose this but then i can see them beating us in the 3rd/4th place playoff after we advanced vs germany and nigeria (who i would say could beat france) only for us to run into the winners of a netherlands/brazil quarter final.then i can see algeria reversing our group stage result after we get attacked by nerves and again fail to win a penalty shootout.
 
Ivory Coast have the better quality but their group is ridiculous, might not even make it to the next round :(

South Africa. Not the best team, but home nation and look at South Korea back in 2002.
 
South Africa have the easiest group. Ivory coast have a very small chance of getting through their group

Since I think Brazil and Portugal will qualify from their group, leaving Ivory Coast out, I think Cameroon will go furthest.

Though it really does depend on what happens past the group stages.
 
Dont forget Nigeria.. They have some quality ie Mikel Yakubu Odemwingie yobo anichebe etc
 
I voted for Nigeria - they have the team with the widest spread of talent and are experienced against the best players in the world. They should do well.

there was a world cup predictor on another thread and i thaught i would give it a go. and then i just looked at my results to see which african team would go the furthest.

Well if i thought cameroon and Nigeria would both reach the QF only then i would vote for them both dont you think??? .. More than one African team will do well its simple...
