Game no. 8 in La Liga
We lost 2-0 to Sporting Gijon. This was a surprising loss. Sergi Enrich scored twice. We controlled the game but as time passed Sporting Gijon grew into the game and we paid the price with a loss. We move on to the next game.

Josemi, a young goalkeeper got injured and will be out for 2 months. Hopefully he recovers well from the injury.

Game no. 9 in La Liga
We won 1-0 against Granada. Darko Brasanac scored the goal that helped us win the game towards the end. This win is very vital in making sure we accumulate as many points as possible from now till the end of the season. I like the spirit that the team showed and the way they held on till the end of the game.

Game no. 10 in La Liga
We lost 1-0 to Real Madrid. This was a tough loss to take as we played very well and defended brilliantly. Cristiano Ronaldo scored off a penalty to help Real Madrid win the game. So yeah, it was a bit of a blow to lose this way. Anyway we will move on to the next game.

Dani Ceballos has got injured and will be out for 2-3 weeks. Hopefully he recovers well from the injury.

Game no. 11 in La Liga
We drew 1-1 against Osasuna. Both teams had their chances to win the game. Both teams attacked quite a bit. So a draw is a fair result. Miguel De las Cuevas scored for Osasuna first and then Roman Zozulya scored the equalizer.

Game no. 12 in La Liga.
We drew 1-1 against Real Sociedad. It was a good point. Somewhat lucky. Joseba Zaldua socred within the first five minutes of the game and then Roman Zozulya equalized for us after a cross by Nahuel Leiva beat all the defenders to find Roman Zozulya standing in the middle. Neither side controlled the game and it was pretty end to end. We move on to the next game.

Game no. 13 in La Liga
We won 1-0 against Las Palmas. It was a very hard fought win. Andrea Masiello scored a goal for us through a strike which was made after the corner was taken at the time. We defended very well and set up a low block. And we did not give Las Palmas many chances. It was a well deserved victory for us.

Game no. 14 in La Liga.
This was a bad loss to Athletic Bilbao. We lost 2-0. Athletic Bilbao completely dominated the game and Aritz Aduriz and Inaki Williams scored for them. We looked off the pace, and were second best throughout the entire game, we barely had any chances. And this loss hurt. Hopefully we get a better performance from the team in the next game.

2017-18 Copa Del Rey Fourth Round 1st Leg
We drew 0-0 against Osasuna. It was an end to end game. Both sides had their chances. However neither could break the deadlock and both defenses were excellent at nullifying each other. A fair result at the end of the day.

The transfer budget has now increased to 8.68 million pounds. A little more money to work with and I hope we can get in some better players in January.

Game no. 15 in La Liga
We drew 0-0 against Valencia. This was a game that Valencia absolutely dominated and we are lucky to come out of the game with a point. But you know our defense did well and kept an important clean sheet that will serve us well in the season. We move on to the next game and keep accumulating as many points as possible to stay out of trouble.

Game no. 16 in La Liga
We lost 2-0 to Barcelona. This was a hard loss to take. We played well in the first half and then in the second half we kind of crumbled. Gerard Pique scored the first goal from a corner for Barcelona and then Luis Suarez scored another goal to make sure the win was sealed.
