Game no. 16 in La Liga
We lost 3-0 to Valencia. It was another bad performance. We were bad defensively. We could not control the midfield. Our attack was limited to a few chances. Fran Villalba scored the first goal through a defensive mistake. Then Mario Risso scored an own goal. And then Pablo Piatti scored a good goal for Valencia to round off the win. We have to improve a lot and pick up a few good results along the way.

Copa del Rey 4th Round Leg 2
We beat SD Eibar 2-1 in the cup. It was a good win and a good performance to make sure we progress to the next round. Lago Junior scored for them again but then this time Roman Zozulya and Shane Long scored the goals to help us win the game and cap off a good result. We also defended well today and our midfield was decent. We move on to the next game.

Game no. 17 in La Liga
We lost to Villarreal 2-1. This was hard to take. Our team performed quite okay. Shane Long opened the scoring for us and then Juanmi scored 2 goals to help Villarreal win the game. We were alright at best. We need to get few results in our upcoming games otherwise we will be in huge trouble.

This win has moved us out of the relegation zone and it was a very crucial win. We have faith that we can stay up in the division and we need to continue fighting. We move on to the next game.

We drew 1-1 against Sporting Gijon. Sergi Enrich opened the scoring in the beginning of the game. And then Dani Ceballos scored later in the second half to secure a draw in the first leg. Hopefully we perform well in the second leg to help us get through in this round of the cup.

We have made our first signing of the January transfer window this season. And it is David Ospina from Arsenal. This signing is quite a coup for our team and some much needed competition for Tiago Volpi. Hopefully he turns out to be a good signing.

We lost 3-0 to Atletico Madrid. This was a very bad performance and result. Giovanni Simeone scored the opening goal for Atletico Madrid and then after that it was Diogo Jota and Breel Embolo who scored the goals for Atletico Madrid to win them the game. The defense was shocking, we created a few chances. In fact we were in the game before the Diogo Jota goal. But then overall it was a poor performance because it felt like there was something missing within the players. Anyway, we move on to the next game.
