I ruin every team I go to, why?

Hi guys,

I made a post like this a while back, but unfortunately the problem reoccurs.
I know it must be something with my tactics, as I believe I have the players to have a comfortable season yet some of my results this season (I've just hit Jan 2011) have been dismal

for example:

CHE 1 - 3 Bristol City
CHE 1 - 4 Stoke
Man City 5 - 1 CHE
Roma 6 - 1 CHE

I'll attack a few screenies, maybe there's something very obvious I'm doing?

As suggested in the title, this happens with every **** game I start, my last game with Arsenal, I had one great season (likewise with Chelsea (did the double with domestic cups, 2nd in league on goal difference bah!) and then my second season everything just crumbles.

Any pointers would be just smashing!

Your defensive line is set to high for players like Terry and Carvalho, if you really struggling, I recommend downloading tactic's off the site.

I always tend to ruin the clubs finances but I get the results.... Most of the time :D
 
Are these the same tactics you were using first season? If so, change them. The AI figures out how to beat it, and you begin to lose a lot easier than before.
 
How many players are you bringing in between seasons? If you're having a great first season then it all goes to pot it suggests to me that you're upsetting the team's balance too much.

No need for that.

Try and look at some of the tactics other people have released, I wouldn't say use them, because you should make your own tactic, but getting ideas off other people isn't a bad thing. Also read Max's tactical guide. :)

If you need some help I'd be happy to help you on my tactical guide, I'm taking requests currently (link is in my sig) so anything you need help with just ask and I'll try my best. I recommend Mr Hough's tactics for you or JP Woody's Total Football etc :)

We all have to start somewhere. When i first started playing Champo i got worse results than that, i got beat 14-0 in one game. If you dont want to help the guy dont post. Nobody likes a smart ****.
 
it sounds like your tactic is fragile, ie the minute a team changes its approach towards (which invariably happens after the first season). dont make so many manual tweaks to it, use the shouts to manipulate things. from my own personal experience ive found that my tactics have worked much with shouts rather than lots of manual tweaking and they ve lasted a lot longer, though thats just me, some people are the other way round

gimme a shout if youre looking for possessing based attack stuff ( at work so can upload to you now) you may not what the tactics itself but i think the overall style would help you
 
I'd recommend downloading a tactic from this site and adjusting it to your needs. :)
 
you must have players for that tactic i think.if you have tactic that make wonders and no players for it that tactic sucks
 
There might be a problem with the player roles you are using as the players might be playing roles that don't suit
 
Try this tactic, as Chelsea is a really offensive players that suit perfectly to this tactic.
 
Sometimes,you cant use the same tactic u sed in your first season again and you have to keep tweaking it and stuff to remain consistent in your results
