I have also just read the thread but didn't see any reference to pitch size.

I did see reference to OI's which was to not use them unless playing a big team.

I'm a bit confused at the OP. Why are there four versions there?

Laffles - does your V1 include wingbacks? Or have you not tested this enough yet?

Hope your well mate.

Im not sure about the new one but when I was testing the orignal a small pitch was best as the tactic was narrow with no wingers and no wide midfielders.

Wow your tactic is really good, I decided to use it with Dundee United of Scotland, they were expected to finish first and I managed to finish 1st.

I think that its really good, the goals are good, the possession and passing are really good. I noticed a few problems with the defense it could be quite leaky at times.

Heres a screenshot of the league table after my first season. I dominated the league with most goals and least conceded.

And as you can see in the next screenshot your tactic managed to make my players dominate in every field.

And a screenshot of my team, I never made any signings.

And now my fixtures/results.
Things started a bit shaky but got a lot better. Theres a few bad losses but there mainly in Europe.

Too round things off I would advise this tactic to anyone, its beast.

I'll post my results after second season as well.

Currently trying the tactic with AFC Wimbledon in BSP, the word "diablo" just made me curious enough to test. This really is a beast of a tactic which exploits crowding the middle of the pitch really well. However i wouldn't call it a "diablo" or a "glitch" just yet, allthough it does much of the same with the central attacking line as diablo used to do back in 03/04.

Going quite well so far, assuming you ignore the friendlies my monkey assistant took care of, and the accident in the opening round.

This Lad Understands why I though I might have thought Id stumbled apon a Diablo. The Midfield Exploits ANY space created. I like this, It explains what I couldnt

I'm gonna post a review of my season here tomorrow. Right now im wrapping up the last few matches, and it seems i've got to research some of the teams in the BSP and see what tactics they've applied against my Wimbledon - because your tactic has been totally dominant versus some teams, while on other occasions it's been a nightmare. Among other things i suffered a heavy 0-4 defeat at home in a match Wimbledon were favorites to win. To be continued .. :)

I'm having some problems with the game. If someone else is wondering why in the last matches the team isn't playing in the same way the key is on the settings. For instance, I lose my Set Pieces Configuration all the time. Also, I have some doubts about the Team Instructions.

Does the tactic has these settings?

Philosopy: Balanced
Strategy: Standard

Default

Press More
Default
Zonal Marking

It does actually use these. They are default as its all in player settings. Therefore these are not required, Putting it on Press More and Zonal Marking was so I didnt have to do that with everyone. I have never lost my set piece config using this, maybe thats just your game.

about to test v1 for a season with ajax. will let you know the results

I finished 17th in my first season with hull. I don't think it was representative of the tactic though, i had a ridiculous amount of injuries and i didnt have the best of squads to start with. The season was played with the older versions of the tactic. I have just started my second season using the newest version. I will post my feedback after a few games.

Here is my current squad:

Is it the shape of the midfield (3 MC 1 AMC) or the players role in it which make it special ?

Because if the wingbacks (instead of fullbacks) give you enough width you could solve your defensive "weakness" by moving the deeplying playmaker in the DMC position and play a 1-2-1 midfield. (and if the 3 MC line is assential put the advanced playmake where the deeplying playmaer was and play 1-3 midfield)
